I have been calling around and finally found a place that's willing to put a direct port nitrous kit on my car. Around $500 installation labor which is really good. Considering NOS wants $250 just to plumb the upper intake manifold. I was planning on doing the rest. I would've gone with NOS, but they said they needed the car. That's way too far to drive. The kit itself will be another $650. I want to add a RPM swich, a TPS activation switch, purge kit, a bottle heater and nitrous pressure gauge. I hope everything will be less than $1500 including some dyno tunning. They have two dynojet with wideband O2 sensor. I want to add an EGT gauge if I can. I got the pictures below for the RPM switch and the TPS switch. Pretty cool stuff.

Kewl deal

What power level are you going to try? Direct port hits hard so be carefull. I had a direct port pro-fogger system on my 87' VW Scirocco. It was jetted to 125hp, and it hit big time!!! You can use the window switch that this guy makes, send him an e-mail for info, its the same price as the shift light.

NOS makes a new TPS for WOT that works off voltage.

The new TPS WOT switch is what I have been looking for. I just came across it today. I'm going to start small around 75hp. That's about the same power level SC max makes.

Why are you going with a wet kit??

Just wondering. I would not go that much man, if you are going with wet I would only go with a 50 if even 60"shot". You will get more power with a wet kit if you say "shot vs shot" like 50 vs 50. That will give you so much torque you probabaly wont be able to use the NOS in first gear. I think my car runs very good on the gas and I am using a dry kit that is jetted to about 40-50 hp, and I have ran 14.1 on 17s. A lot of people might say differant but a 75"shot" with a wet kit is a BIG hit.

Re: Why are you going with a wet kit??

I'm more into show so a trick installation will get me few extra points =). I'm not sure how many "shot" I will eventually go with. I might just start at 50. I like the concept of a direct port kit. Easier to tune, but the biggest advantage is nitrous/fuel will be distributed evenly to all cylinders. I'm just shopping right now. I might end up with a dry kit just because it's easier to install. One kit I would not go with is the single fogger wet kit. I don't think NOS sells them, but I believe Nitrous Express does.
