installed Don's vb. shifts strange, something's wrong

I got the new vb from Don last week installed. I also got the upgraded ECU put in at the same time from Jim Wolf. There is no check engine light coming on, but there is definitely something wrong with the car. When I drive very slow and smooth the car is fine, but when I put my foot into it the car will not respond. I can hear the engine revving up, but there is no response. Sometimes the car won't even respond to the gas pedal at all, I will have to pull over and turn the car off altogether before it will react again. I have noticed it getting a little better over the past few days, maybe it just needs some time to "break in". Anyway, I was just hoping to get some feedback from some of you guys on this stuff.

Are you leaking or low on tranny fluid?

Your supposed to break it in for about a week. NO FLOORING IT!

it definitely sounds like it would be the ECU, i cant see how the valve body would do that

That is what I have suspected. It seems to get better everytime I drive it. I am full on the tranny fluid and it's not leaking anywhere. Any other thoughts???

You could always go direct to us with any questions, but this seems to be the first place people look for answers.

Email me direct with details.

you're talking about the VB right? i didn't wait to floor it. i floored it the same night when i took the car for a test run. my car did responded, but it seem to respond better after driving the car for awhile like a week or so.

I love hearing this. Good to know I am not the only one who hates breaking things in

Well, Don has said in the past to drive it easy for a few days, then beat on it.
