Raised White Lettering On Tires

I've been seeing a few cars with raised white lettering on their tires, pretty low profile, and just wanna know what you guys think of it, I'm debating on doing it when I buy new tires for a set of wheels I'm looking at. Probably go nitto, or toyo. What do you guys think?

Thanks

White walls making a comeback?

I'm not a fan, but this is one of those personal preference threads.

I thought about it but changed my mind. Thought it would take away from the car.

If your car is a truck, but trying to ghettoish the look or something like you couldn't afford good set of tires? That's pretty much what it sends the message, LOOK AT ME< I can't afford car tires but I got 4x4 Maxima, LOL

what are you talking about...? Lol I'm not talking about 4x4 tires. I'm talking about border line track tires.

Here's what I think he's talking about. Not a bad look on a true sports car, but not a Maxima in my opinion.

What goes around comes around. Red walls must be making a comeback.

I think that's a wheel protector.
