Just got a JUMBO one for my MAX. wish I did this when I Initially bought it. Until the AC cut out I didn't realize how hot the car gets.

just checked up on it right after the previous post gauge interface turned black like a digital malfunction. I brought it inside and it registered at 155 degrees.

if you have a Sun roof, park the car with the rear flipped up. open the sun shade a couple of inches .

this helps keep the temperature down a bit.

My black leather interior forces me to use a windshield sun visor. The pop up factory rear shade also helps the interior stay cool(er).

Electronically controlled window tinting?
Deep black tint on sunny days and within a push of a button it's back to regular glass.

For me the best sunshade is the lightweight cheap ones, cause I get get them up quickly. Also when I accidentally hit my wife with it she gets less mad :-)

Also leaving all 4 windows cracked, sun roof cracked with the pull back shade leaving just a crack open.

Also have you ever made a personal cooler:
- ice chest
- 12V water pump
- tubing.

Just make a tube for your back and bottom and you'll be great.

Innovation that excites.
That's funny, i was thinking the same thing, I've seen Glass for office buildings that can tint automatically and then go back to transparent, shouldn't be difficult to do it for a car.

Google is you're friend. :-D

I know Nissan being one of the manufacturers that installs loaded bombs in cars(airbags) will innovate a clever way to prevent child deaths
