I just bought this for $800 at Auction. And I'm wondering if this is a normal shifting for the Trany.

It had a print out for a Diag and came up clean but the visual inspection states to replace both inner & outer TiRods looks like a easy job to do.

But an issue is the transmission slips / knocks if you go to take off fast if you drive normal it barely noticable.

There's a video below and i did the recording on a non traffic road by my house with no traffic It seems to run fine and i had another post in the 5th gen area and a member says dump the precats what is that a code. I 'm new & Ignorant on this car so i was wondering what the PRECATS are look it up i guess it is a program code.I Guess i need to get rid of this car or learn it.I learn CNC Coding to prototype machining and making scale black powder Cannons for my lathe and Mill. But sold them but i had friends that knew it.

Also what are the Programs available for either Android Or a Laptop for Dia & Programing the Maxima. I HAd a 1972 Datsun 240Z that had 70+K miles on it when i bought it back in 97 it was a great car very bad gas mileage strait 6 2 SU downdraft Carbs but it was Fun.
