KONI's?? or KYB agx'z???? which ones please help...
 

Have a 96 SE with Intrax springs (1 3/4 drop) I need new shocks BAD...I don't have an insane cash bugget ...what is the advantage to pay more for the Koni's then going for the easier to install KYB's...

IMPORTIANT:: will the KYB's go bad like tokico's?? AND ,..what about a Weapon R coilover kit...will this work on KYB's??

Konis have the lifetime warantee which is good, thats basically all I see thats better really. I have Konis and if I were to but shocks again then I would probably go for the AGX. The konis are fine for me but the only thing that I hate about them is that the rear struts are a bish to adjust since you need to disassemble the whole thing:mad:

if you want awesome quality but a pain in the butt install, then get Koni's, which was also mensioned have lifetime guarantee, if you want an easy install get AGX, but remember if you drop it bellow 1.5" (I believe) the warantee goes bye bye... so that's something to consider.

I had Koni's with sprints and the work great! When I removed them from my old car, one was blown. Don't know why, maybe it was defective, maybe installed wrong, I just don't know. Within 4 days of faxing my reciept and explination to Koni, they just sent me a new one...never even asked for my old one back.

I purchased new AGX's becuase I though I would be without a Koni strut for months, like a typical warrenty process takes. I decided that I would try AGX's, not because I disliked Konis, they were wonderful!
