Because it's so hard to find specs on max's (feul efficency)

If you guys would be so kind, please write down your feul average feul efficency.

For instance the new Maxima 2002 does 12L/100km (something like that)

and if you have galons/miles don't bother converting, i'll do that myself

Thanks in advance.

P.S. Does anyone else kinda think the 3rd generation Maxima kind of looks like the Nissan Skyline?

2002 Auto 20 city/26 highway (MPG)
2002 Stick 21 city/28 highway (MPG)

Per Nissan's US web site. I know the canadian site has some outrageous numbers for the fuel economy. Apparenty Canada isn't nearly as strict as the US in how it's measured.

20 MPG on average, I do a variety of different driving speeds.

BlancMax Feb 22, 2002 12:24 PM

I get 21 MPG almost every time (96 GLE). Half city, half highway and I always use premium.

My 4DSC Feb 22, 2002 01:17 PM

mine

2001 SE/AE

19-21 depending on how hard i drive it

or ~300 miles per tank with a 15.5 gal fillup

TimW Feb 22, 2002 10:27 PM

on average???

about 15mpg.. I have a 3-5 min drive to work so the car never warms up fully (15 mins).. always very rich. that's within spec btw, consumer reports measured 14-16mpg for all 2000+ V6 cars during the first 10-15 mins or until the emissions system warms completely.

1998 Max GLE (auto of course)

On a full tank, I get between 400-450 kms. It varies on weather, seasons, A/C usage and how hard it's driven:)

Thanks for the feedback everyone! :)

deezo Feb 23, 2002 04:15 PM

I've gotten 460 miles from a full tank(17 gals). Boston to DC non-stop.

NickStam Feb 23, 2002 04:16 PM

i think i get like 18-20 MPG in the city and 25-30 on long trips.

Mishmosh Feb 23, 2002 05:21 PM

This winter: 20-22 mpg (normal winter 18-20)
Summers: 23-25 mpg

(mixed local and highway driving)

jiaxima96 Feb 24, 2002 06:48 AM

96 GXE auto, comletely stock. About 70% hiway 30% city, no matter 87 or 91, MPG is always around 22. Never race but driving speed is above average.
