Silverstars are not what they're cracked up to be

I bought some for my lady's Accord last night because her headlights are so dim. Installed them and they where not white at all, they just looked a little brighter. These headlights are $20 each and definitely not worth it. Personally, I still think Cool Blues are better for the cost.

Silverstars are a big disappointment.

sorry for the info peeps.

Check out Philips VisionPlus if they make them in that size, those seem to be the best bulbs short of a xenon HID system. I didn't notice a huge difference with BlueVisions either but it was there.

I'm glad you let us know about these bogus bulbs. If you looked at the website you'd think they'd be incredible. I'm beginning to think short of German HID's from the factory the cost/benefit analysis just isn't happening. I see plenty of cars, usually something like a Focus, Civic, Mirage, etc. with very white lamps but they look ghey.

Thanks for the replies fellas. I just think it sucks that the lumination is just not as good as they advertise. Later, I'm just going to get HID's for her car.

I've seen a lot of bulbs but I have to tell the truth about these bulbs.
