Sticking throttle after TB coolant bypass
#1
My 97 SE stick has been acting strange once in a while. I did a throttle body coolant bypass, and capped the unused caps on the throttle body. Now, every once in a while, the throttle sticks at 1500 RPM. Wtf is going on here? Anyone else experience something similar?

I was the first to do this mod ->
and the first to un-do it. Put the coolant lines back, guys.
There's a cold idle mechnanism that sticks when the air temperature's below around 65 degrees. I tried adjusting the mechanism but could never get the car to act right. I recommend just putting everything back to stock. There's little gain (if any), anyways.
