What's the best wheel weight for an '02 maxima?
 

before I start looking for a particular style, I'd like to know what weight of wheel would be optimal (i.e: not so light that there's wheel hop, roughness at high speeds and no traction but not so heavy that it's harder to get them rolling)--I'm looking for either 17X8s or 18X8s--I'm sure lighter is better in most aspects but I don't wanna be peeling out at every light I stop at (if that in fact is a result of too light of a wheel)

i would say something around 18lbs would be perfect. Im running 14lb rims, and they're working out great... but im always worried that I might dent them on a pothole.

I'm sure your rims are stronger than many heavier rims. Is it harder for you to get traction now? any negative things about rims as light as yours?
