Are there any 13 second maxima's here without...
 

NOS or a supercharger? I know there are quite a few in the 13's and maybe even a 12 here but they all have NOS or a supercharger. Is it possiable to get a max in the high 13's without either?

It could probably happen with a 2k2 when they get a better aftermarket support but for now I dont think you can. IF i remember correctly fastest NA is 14.2:gotme:

doesnt aaron(theblue) run 14.0? last i knew, he wants F/I'ed. i know someone ran a 14.0 NA in a 4th gen.

I hope to reach 13's NA by the end of this year. I definatly have to work on my launch though.

if Aaron gets a variable intake and shift at redline he will hit 13's easy

Im saying Nealoc187 will be the first one to run 13's in a 4th gen this summer N/A. He has a Variable Intake on order, so that should make a big difference. Neal ran a 14.4 last year, but since has added some new mods that should drop that old time.

Arent slicks bad for the tranny? Because of all the grip and everything.

Are there some upgradeable transaxles for the Maxima out already? I think I've seen a post about them a while back, was this ever done?

i believe that the mobiltek porject car is well into the 13's. and hes NA. if im not mistaken hes pushin somewere around 290whp and its an auto as well....

is he running the MEVI?

Oh yeah and i almost forgot about Furbiss....

Im not sure. Its a 95, he took out sooo much weight in his car, and he's also chipped.

first of all i know furbiss is s/c and yeah i did read the first post, just stating that hes alot faster then 13sec. second if a n/a 2002 with approx 210-215 whp can clear the 1/4 in very low 14's then im pretty sure that a NA 4th gen thats pushin 290whp can damn well go into the 13's. or does that just seem too damn wierd for some1 like u to understand. and were did i get that bs info from, well i got that bs info from a post that a saw a while back that stated that the Dons car was pushin 290whp. if i was wrong then sooooo sorry but dont get all offensive and call my info bs, becasue i just posted what ive seen on this site before.

Papasmurf was also running slicks. Has anyone ever actually seen his timeslip. I remember DaveB asking him for it once, and never saw him respond.

2k1HoMax what's your point? The title of this thread says without nitrous or forced induction, everyone here knows its easy to run 13s with either N2O or FI.

i know its easy to run 13's with N20 or a s/c. i personally dont know what the mobiltek car has in it. from what ive heard its heavily modded N/A, if im wrong then im wrong i dont really know whats in it.

You are right Don's car is heavily modded. He ran a 14.2 in an N/A auto on slicks, and 12.2 on the bottle. I was just wondering why you brought up Ferhans car since its SC'd.

I had my transmission gears/synchros/bearings cryogenically treated. I suppose that can be considered an upgrade. So far no problems- knock on wood. My differential is Quaife and that is not cryotreated, but that thing should be able to take mounds of abuse (from hearing from other applications). Its lifetime warrantied- even when raced!

That sucks, he is on DR's right? I think I remember you saying that. What sort of 60' times is he pulling with them? Is he having some other car problems that are slowing him down or was the 14.28 just a freak of nature run?
