Someone stole my windshield wipers!?! can you believe that? I am still in shock. got to work this morning, got the smoking crew together and went outside for a smoke and looked at my car. Nothing but the arms were there! What kind of joke is that. Thank god it didnt rain today or i would have had some nice deep scratched in my NEW windshield.

I cant wait to get home and check my neighbors video tape to see if ive got the vandel on video. My neighbor has a motion cam pointed at his and my cars. Funny thing about this is my wipers were totally shot, rubber falling off.

All i can say is someone is dead, i live in such a small town it is going to be so easy to find them.

 

dude that sucks how you find the thief. have the police arrest him heheh charge the guy with petty thief, distruction of private property, life endagerment. anything else you can throw in there. man what some people would go through to save a buck.

no they were the oem stalks! Id like to buy the jap MTEC wipers but cant find them any where. So for now i have those crappy ANCO blades $15 bucks for a pair.

It's really pretty silly to steal like that, but is it really worth it to get out a motion cam and drive all around looking for your wipers? They're only $3.97 for Anco Aero Vantages and $11.99 for Bosch Micro Edge Excel, you said yourself they were worn?

The motion cam is/was a bonus Im not going to drive around saying "is this you in the photo." And your right i could care less about the wipers. Its more of the point of who are you to touch MY car. I have a feeling its the terror of a child from up the block whos parents have the attitude of "Oh no, not my son.

 

Yes, these things are annoying. But truthfully? something like that, the annoyance should stop when you go to Wal-Mart and plunk down the $8.42 for 2 new Anco Aero Vantages. yes, it's a real world out there. Sometimes people even scrape your car and just drive away. There's no need for Chuck Norris to resolve these issues.

Sucks that it happened, but it coulda been a good deal worse. I hope your neighbors cam is good enough for identification purposes at night, so if something worse comes up in the future, you'll have evidence.

Frank I understand what you are saying but IMO your missing the point. Of couse im not going to beat up someone let alone some kid. But every now and then its nice to teach someone a "Real World Lesson". Im not a very religous person but "Thou shall not steal".

I know total shame Im still in an apartment as i wait for the house to be finished. But i will tell ya I'm building one hell of a garage for a two car garage.

As far as the tape/cam(s) (i didnt know he has 2 going) Ive got something Unfortunately it was picked up by the lesser quality cam. But never the less a car pulls up (no suprise it looks like a honda)at or around 1:12am then at 1:36am you can see a figure behind my car.

I will take the tape to work (monday) and do a little digitizing and cleaning to see if i can get anymore out of the tape. Either way i'll post the vid for all to see.

This is starting to get fun now.

Yo, seriously, me and my friends are sick of paying 22k for renting a house at the shore every summer. Is there any realistic agreement that 6 parties could make on a new construction short of Reservoir Dogs?
