The oz's with the spoiler..the enkeis just too much rim

Chunger Jun 14, 2002 07:58 PM

These were the 2 I was looking at. I probably woulda gone with the Bortex but noone had them around here and I needed to measure them in order to clear my Wilwoods... I ended up with the OZ... I'm happy but I just as easily could have gone with the ENKEIs. Nice job with the photos... I wouldn't have known.

They are... but the Bortex look even worse.

meccanoble Jun 15, 2002 10:28 AM

THe wizard of OZ all the way...other one is just too much...

MrGone Jun 15, 2002 10:51 AM

hey,
I like the looks of the Enkei, but the OZ isnt bad either. i could see how others say too much rim. also you wont spend as much time cleaning the OZ as you will with the Enkei. also dont forget you may want to find out which one is lighter.

as to the spoiler, keep it no matter what. it just looked horriable with out it, it could have been the kit, but still, it looks ALOT better with the spoiler.
anyway later

the weight for both is the same(18x8 ~18lb, 17x8 ~16lb) so i cant use that to pick, but i can see how the Bortex is too much rim.

ssiperko Jun 15, 2002 11:50 AM

go with the OZ leggeras, they re way easier to clean then the Enkeis, up and down spokes. In my sig you can somewhat see what they may look like but those are not OZ.

The OZ looks better!!!

bacid Jun 15, 2002 03:14 PM
