Aren't you basically saying that a car of a given model year comes out 3-8 months prior to Jan. 1 of that year? How is that a secret??

Yeah, but you're looking at exact dates of when the vehicles go on sale. This info is nice for those who want to plan buying a car in the future.

A word about Telematics ... Nissan/Infiniti signed up Wingcast as its Telematics provider but some might know, Ford pulled the plug on Wingcast so no more Wingcast.

Give Kevin a break. The information is useful if you are in the market. A 3-8 month range is very broad so again narrowing things down is of interest. For example my wife has an Altima lease expiring in Oct. so we are weighng different options.

"Secret" (you're referring to the date) and "secret source" are two different things. I assume you read the subject line correctly, right?

My only question is if the 04 Maxima will be different then. Normally they will debut a new body style at a car show about 6 months in advance at a car show and most car shows are towards the end of the year. I would seem strange by most standards to debut the car a month before it goes on the market.

I agree, I think it's VERY strange that Nissan is delaying the debut for so long, for a vehicle that's going to launch in about 6 months.

Hit the world by storm? Media hype is a good thing sometimes ... keeps people anxious, discussions are always on about this mysterious car.
