Can anyone with this kit (Jime or anyone with this cooler) help me out with the parts to complete the install???? All I have is the cooler.

Thanks.

I don't remember seeing this on the website but when you read the box, it says the kit 70255 and 70265 doesn't come with hardware. Pretty dumb if you ask me.

Deezo does it have the plastic tie wrap gizmos and rubber pads to hold it to the a/c condensor? Thats about all I used from the kit the rest is pretty much surplus.

No, there was absolutely nothing else in the box. Do you mind putting a list together for me so I can head out and grab the parts (mainly the fittings)?

I didn't like those plastic tie wrap gizmos. I ended up bending a bunch of radaitor fins. I gave up and used the brackets that came with my fluidyne cooler. Here's some pictures of my 2 years old cooler.

You will need:

a) 4 hose clamps
b) approx 9 feet of 3/8" transmission fluid hose (two sections, 5 feet, and 4 feet)
c) four plastic tab fasteners (the kind with a "square" base)
d) lots of plastic zip ties

Thanks Eric and Tony.

You must have ordered the wrong one; should have gotten #130-70264. The racing cooler is designed to be used with screw fittings and braided stainless steel hoses.

I got the #130-70265. I think I'm going to send it back and get the one you got.

Update: I just got of the phone with Jegs. I'm exchanging it for the kit #130-70264.

Because I'm going to make the car a bit faster soon and I drive in a lot of stop and go traffic (bad for autos).

So you got the polished street rod cooler, what does it look like?

You mean 70265 and 70266. Those are racing coolers that don't come with hardware. I have the 70255 and it came with everything.

Do you guys think I should get the B&M tranny cooler? I already have the Hayden 403 cooler, but not sure if that's good enough. Which is better for SC application?

easy fix

Hey, Deez, you have a dremel, right? Go to Home Depot, grab some thin sheet metal or something you can cut. Cut out 2 3/5" long x 1.5" tall ovals. Drill 2 holes. Use zip ties through the holes so you don't damage your radiator fins. If you want, I can try to take pictures of mine...but you can't see it too well in the lighting down there.
