here's how i'd like to see 5th generations look...
 

hey everyone,
not to knock the new 5th generations or anything, they're still maximas and i love them but...i think the rear is really ugly. i don't have photoshop and used MS Paint (sadly enough), so that explains why the pics are kinda crappy. the font is kinda weird on the second picture. i think they would look good with the 4th generation M A X I M A on the back. i relocated the license plate too. if anyone is good at photoshop, make some better ones! i think they would look sooo much better like this: (btw the car i used was maximadave's original picture)

looks like a billboard on wheels...

i didn't have a picture of the 4th font so i put that one on. i know it's fugly and big, like i said i don't have photoshop so maybe someone can touch it up but...you get the general idea. i think that looks way better than how it is stock.

actually i was thinking of that..to fill in the lisence plate holder..and shave the emblems..and to paint the talights using 2k1 SE lights..so its red/clear...but id like hte maxima in smaller font...which you probably intended.

that makes it uglier...

Well, at least that way when you stomp someon'e a** to the ground, and are a good distance away from them, they will still be able to see what kicked their butt.

you've made the rear look like a neon with altezzas.

i think the 5th needs that license plate there. i mean, 4th gens are ok with that shaved trunk space between tails because of the shape and size of the tails. in the 5th , its just weird

see yours looks good. i'm glad everyone made fun of me for trying the idea, i said i couldn't find a good enough maxima font and gave an general idea and everyone jumped down my throat...glad yours came out better! it really does look better than ugly 5th stock rear.

Damn dude, 4th Gen Maximas have the ugliest rear tail I've ever seen on a car. That includes my 2K2 Max as well. Go buy some glasses and take a look at your 4th Gen from the back some time. It's FUGLY.

dont hate on the 4th gens just because our @$$ looks better :D

as long as the orange is cleared out on the 4th gen tails they look good

it's weird...3rd gen, i think, have no orange in the back...4th has orange, 2k-2k1 dont have orange, 2k2 have orange.....why do they change it up like that

Hey guys, i am in love with the pic of the 5th gen with the 4th gen lettering, it looks so sick, i had been talking to my friend about it a while ago, and he posted the first two pics (jepht20) keep in mind he used paint to do it, and just wanted to kinda get it started, how can you hate somethign that much, then like it that much?

4th gens don't have ugly tails...we have the funky ones. :o

I think the 4th Gens' rear looks REALLY good from any angle other than straight from the back. Looking at a 4th Gen directly from behind is pretty ugly, because the rear narrows out relative to the width of the car.

Hey can we see some more 5th gen with the 4th gen lettering on the back, maybe a black one, and a champagne and white one, just to see what we think, i personally think its ill.
