Can't wait to see what Nissan puts out next!
Just came from http://www.nissan.co.jp/EN/lineup.html and all i can say is, Nissan has everyone overhere in the states getting the garbage while everyone in asia, is getting the hot sh!t!!! The sedans that they have are incredible. The engines are different form the ones we have over here somewhat, but they more than likely can tweak them a lot easier than we can because of the availability of aftermaket products. Which ever one of those sedans gets the maxima bage which more than likely be any of the ones above the skyline aka infiniti g35, will be a winner and i'll definitely have it lined up besides my modded '98 max in the driveway after about two years so they can get the gliches outof them.:D

soild line-up...I am surprized we have not seen them yet. Reasons: the fact Nissan stock could be better, and I think sales in the US is less than desired>? Anyway it is cool to have US factories...but would they make more $$ if they shiped thier kick-azz models over here in rightdrive form.? I just saw infinity's newer line up and they are hot..anyway..blahblah

i dont think the laurel will carry the max badge cause in real fact the laurel is a sohc inline six i should think the cefria will carry the max badge and i think we should get those versions over here
|
why the hell is Nissan not pulling the limited production stuff with skyline...like ship 1000 over and having them at way above the normal(right, sane) price>???

The Gloria looks a lot like the Infiniti M45 thats coming out soon, except it doesnt have the 4.5 liter engine
|

But if you know something we don't know please share it with us.... |
a good point kwamdoo74 I am looking to get a Audi S4 after school, but if Nissan came with a AWD contender I would look in to it....for I may move to Colorado and I like to drive thru mud....J/K

i believe i did have see the I35 post before i posted, because are post are like 3 mins apart.
sorry didnt mean to hit your PMS button |
Originally posted by naijai wasnt looking at the page when typing but i think none of them could carry the maxima badge cause they are all too boxy and they couldnt use the primera since its the size of a cavalier so it might be a whole new shape Nissan might be trying to revert back to the boxy look, they did it once with the 3rd generation max's. But i forgot who said it earlier, the new max is supposed to be a lower grade of the infiniti m45. |
PMS?? never..I wish I had some estrogen around here about now....yeah I speak with a touch of ignorance so I have no problem with comments...4th gens I know.... speculation about the future is anyones guess.>>>..

Originally posted by Youngmaxdriver I would also like to see a v-8 Max. But I must agree that Nissan does a good job of keeping the v-6's HP close to the competitions V-8's. making a V8 maxima would take away that maxima tradition of the best V6 engine on the market and might make the max move from midsize to full size sedan now tell me if yu want that or yu want the same engine tweaked up a few more horses same size lighter and still able to make mods race V8's and hand them their asses i definrtly dont think so |
good call naijai, but is the flagship a big car in most cases yes...Q45..LS400
Nissan has a 3000lbs flagship>? cool but they pick a bigger car or the maxima moves up..and a XXXXX.org is produced. Just a guess lets chat..... |

As mentioned the VW is coming out with their V8 for their flagship. Max always pushed toward that BMW type of performance and i beleive they should continue to get there and if possible try to surpass them if need be. I have confidence that they can maek a good V8. ;) |
Originally posted by kwamdoo74 Hey cuz, it's not that serious, as i stated before, if you know something we don't know, fill us in. I made the comment so that you wouldn't overlook it again before posting something that had already been mentioned. It's cool too, give us your $.02 But the PMS comment was some weak sh!t to say. don't be defensive, we aren't here to attack one another. This isn't the chat line....! |
