96BLUMAX Oct 27, 2002 09:40 PM

How much do the pulleys weigh? Are the gains the same as UR?

teejnut Oct 27, 2002 10:01 PM

Pulley's do not include the belts, If you guys want to buy the belts at the same time, i will make sure and stock 2 or 3 sets of them, but i will have to check the cost on it.

Buy will last for as long as we have pullies, this is a Org price, reg price is 83.99 unshipped.

Pulleys weigh .85 ounce more than the Unorthodox, which is basically nothing.

The 2K1's may or may not need the Alternator belt, some said you do, some aid you dont, and some needed a diffrent size too. On $80.00, you guys dont need payment plans, we have 43 or so pcs left, so everyone will be sure to have one

96BLUMAX Oct 28, 2002 02:52 PM

Sounds great. Will this price last? I don't think i should buy one now because I have been buying a lot of mods lately so i would like to pick up one in the future. Also how much if you want the belts with it?

Re: RVM Racing Lightened Crank Pulley's - Group Deal

You're selling a lightened underdrive crank pulley for $80??? Isn't Unorthodox Racing like $180? Are you sure the pulley will work on 2k2 and 2k3's? Thanks.

96BLUMAX Oct 29, 2002 06:03 AM

Can i get the belts from courtesy?

Yes that is right, and they do fit on 2002-2003, Steve has already put on on his 2002 maxima

SLICNIC Oct 29, 2002 11:47 AM

How do I order one from your site and still get the group deal price?

zeitgeist57 Oct 30, 2002 08:07 PM

Great deal! :) Can we get dyno numbers showing power increases with the new UDP? Anyone give an account of how these RVM pulleys make your Max feel?

Menasor Oct 30, 2002 09:54 PM

What happend to the people that received free pulleys, where are the reviews? I have only seen one review of it and that was from Steve.

Yes, could the ones that got the free pulleys please post an update with any info you have?

96BLUMAX Oct 31, 2002 08:03 AM

Yeah i want to see so i can compare to UR. No doubt that 80 bucks is a great deal. Still want to see.

BlackMax2k1 Oct 31, 2002 09:39 AM

I can't compare it to Unorthodox but it does seem to rev faster and pull a little harder. I've had no problems with mine. Just that I didn't tighten the belts enough so I get a squeal. It's a good deal and I had no fitment problems. :)

96BLUMAX Oct 31, 2002 12:03 PM

Has anyone had both types of pulleys?

02MaximizedVQ Oct 31, 2002 01:36 PM

If its only .85 ounces heavier than the UR, I'm sure the power gains are on par. A pulley is a fairley simple device, its hard to screw up!

Do you have a sound system with a lot of bass? I am curious to hear what you experience when you have all the acessories on, that's including the headlights and system turn up. Thanks for posting your thoughts on your pulley. I think I might buy one now.

No I don't but from what I heard it won't affect it.

96BLUMAX Oct 31, 2002 07:09 PM

Yeah the weight is about the same but what about the diameter. That affects performance too.

BlackMax2k1 Oct 31, 2002 07:48 PM

Please, if you can tell the difference from the diameter between the two then you have special powers. :D

96BLUMAX Nov 1, 2002 08:34 AM

Just making sure that it is smaller than stock, just like the UR pulley. Your right I can't tell from the pic so I just wanted to know if it is the same. Just hard to believe that they are charging 100 dollars less than UR.

sterling99SEL Nov 6, 2002 02:35 PM

crank seal?

Is a new oil seal required for the install or is this optional? The way I see it, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

$80 shipped for the pulley (I just PM'd him and sent paypal), I got my 2 belts from another website, Bando brand (same as OEM) for $20.28 shipped. Don't know if the '02 takes the same belts or not. From everything I've read, I think I got the right ones for my '99 - I should find out in a couple days when I have time to put it on! Bando part numbers are 6PK1045 and 4PK770. Gates #s would be K060410 and K040300.

Still don't know if an oil seal is required... Anyone?
Thanks.
