I was wondering if someone could help me out. I got an RVM pully through somebody else, but they didn't have the installation sheet. Is it possible if someone could either e-mail or fax me the installation sheet for the RVM crank pully?

thanks

Why isn't the shipping info page working? it just skips right over it. anybody else having this problem. I don't see anything to click that says to have billing and shipping info the same. I even tried altering the address to go to page 2 instead of 3 and it just goes back to page 1.

Kanaka Apr 4, 2003 03:54 AM

did anyone else who got the RVM UDP have any problems after installing it? I had a hard time starting my car now. it was so bad i put my stock pulley back on.

kink420 Apr 4, 2003 06:12 AM

I'm having a hell of a time tensioning these belts properly.
My car has been screaming mad for over a month now. Work in progress. None the less, this is a great mod for the dollar.

TRuFLiPpeR Apr 7, 2003 02:28 PM

difference...

what is the difference between the RVM pulley and the Unorthodox pulley? i know stillen always charges way more than they have to, put a $100 difference in price makes one wonder. thanks for your help!

n1cK!

Sorry if these are dumb questions, but I can't read page 2 of this thread. Are these pulleys still available and are they available for a 2002.

studman Apr 8, 2003 12:49 PM

Installation Instructions (With Photos) are available on my web-site.

i got a cranksensor code and i have a hard time starting my car. Any suggestions would help alot. Does anyone else have any problems installing the rvm?

studman Apr 8, 2003 09:59 PM

Did your RVM come with a timing ring? If not, that's probably the problem. If so, is it possible that you didn't seat the pulley all the way against the crankshaft? Or maybe you forgot to oil. All of these could cause an imbalance on the crankshaft, thereby throwing a code. The oil is not likely to throw a code, but it's needed in order for the reduction of friction, which could throw a code.

Also, check the tension on your belts. You may have one too tight and the other too loose. This happened to me when I did mine and I threw a code as well. I fixed the tension and reset the code and everything was good.

Is the timing ring the one with the edges sticking out . And the cel went away when you reset the ecu?? thanx i will have it checked out.

i'm interested in this as well but want to know if those of u wit problems solved the problems

what else u have to buy with this for it to be fully functional

and i cant read dyno's :(, how much hp and torque are we looking at gaining wit this mod? i read that u feel it with auto, and with 5 speed u feel it even more

Kanaka Apr 9, 2003 03:03 AM

I installed my pulley a few days ago. I was having major problems. I removed the UDP and took off the timing ring. I lined the ring up with the stock pulley and it seems that the double tabs are off a bit. I sent the ring back. hope to have a correct ring sent back to me soon.

studman Apr 15, 2003 06:46 AM

You'll need the belts. I've listed them on my homepage under the UDP Installation write-up.

The average gain is about 6 HP to the wheels.
