I have the sets in stock ready to go, they are at the warehouse. Just a matter of me picking them up. As for the people that are definate on getting these, please specify if you want silk or aluminum tweeters. I personally prefer silk, but there is no performance or pirce differnce. Just plain old choice.

you've heard it from the man himself, these are in stock ready to go, anyone ready to buy one PLEASE contact don Pearl96max about shipping and/or installation. The objective of this thread is to organize the group deal but for better communication i recommend PMing, emailing, calling, or visiting Pearl96max to complete the transaction.

Dysfunctional you are added to the list.

I would like the following:

2 sets of HEX Components (silk)
2 sets of rear co-axiles

However, it will be about 2 weeks before I have the money.

I also just realized, meccanoble, that it doesn't mention crossovers anywhere.

These do come with crossovers, correct?!

Yeah, I figured titanium tweeters (MB Quarts) in the back and silk up front probably won't sound all that good....so I'm going all silk.

This may also help you Raymond...an email sent to me from DA:

Don,

Thank you for the email.

We are aware of onlinecarstereo.com, and have been trying to figure out where they get the product. So you are very correct in saying, “this is wrong”, we do not Authorizes ANY on line selling of our product.

Again, thank you for your support.

Best Regards,

Kaye Taylor

Then go with silk, they are very much smoother.

Don what do you think is a better amp Eclipse PA4212 130w x 2 @ 4ohm or Phoenix Gold ZXTi600 150w x 2 @ 4ohm and use Diamond Audio's RAF(Rear Acoustic Fill) to power both the HEX components and the M3 Coaxials. Which amp do you think is better? When you use the RAF how much do the watts change for the front and how much would the rear be getting from the amp? I am just curious and really wanting to know. Thanks man.

He does not have an online store. He is selling them from his shop. He is an authorized dealer and when he sells anything to anyone on here, it comes from his shop. Online stores like onlinecarstereo and other online stores that try to sell DA are not authorized. 2 different things. It's one thing to setup a group deal online, its another thing to advertise them and sell them on an online store for any random shmoe to buy. Don please correct me if i am wrong.

i cant speak for Don but number 1 i am technically selling these for Don.

Secondly, main reason a lot of manufacturers refuse to honor online sales is because items can normally be stolen, refurbed or rip off's of the regular brand. Don is an actual retail store where he gets these items at a set price unlike ebay and other places where u can find things real cheap because they may be one of the 3 things i spoke of earlier. Anything purchased from Don will have a valid serial number so if you were to have a problem you would be fully warrantied.

But Don could explain it better, not to mention i'm selling them.

Did they turn off the thing that only allows you to edit the title BEFORE someone posts?

If it's like before, once someones else posts, you can't change the title.

iansw: weird, the title WITHIN the post changes, but the thread title doesn't change on search results... sorta weird, can't most changes of the title be justified? Or perhaps enabled for non-newbies or something like that...

Depends on what you are trying to achieve as far as sound. One has been known to be enough. You can check with RedMax, he has only one in his car. There is ony one model, but available in two configurations: dual 2 or dual 4 Ohm. You would use the one that works with your amp. There is no sound or price difference.

Matt,

The term Best can be a ton of different opinions... I would say something reputable (Eclipse,DA,Zapco,Memphis, etc)in the 100watt per channel range. Remember with the RAF that DA provides only a 2 channel amp is needed. I personally have an Eclipse PA5422 running mine, bridged to 2 channel @ 240 watts per channel.
