Not true. We are partners with Clarion, Kenwood, Panasonic and Audiovox. JVC and Eclipse will have tuners available by the end of the year. YOu should be able to go to your local Kenwood retailer and get a new tuner for free. All you have to do is buy the antenna and a Sirius ready head unit. Let me know what state you are in and I should be able to direct you to a local retailer.

If you guys can't wait and can afford a couple of bucks, you can get the Kenwood package (Tuner, display, modulator) for $49.99 here:
http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S...=1&cc=01&avf=Y
And if you hurry, you can get a $10 coupon from here:
http://p02.com/visarewards/register.dyn?v=1&w=s
It's not exactly free, but still pretty cheap.

It'll work with any aftermarket or OEM unit - but through FM modulation. So the sound quality may degrade a bit more. Not entirely noticeable to the average Joe - but if you're an audiophile and have a better-than-average sound system, then you'll notice it.

I work at Circuit City's car audio department and here's the deal:
If you buy a: 1)Kenwood Sirius ready headunit 2) FM Modulator or 3)Terk antenna, you receive the tuner box for free. The new Kenwood tuner box(model# KTCSR902) has auxiliary outputs which is nice because if your aftermarket headunit (i.e. Alpine) has a cd changer control you can purchase a piece which will convert that CD changer input to RCA input. You can then get best sound quality out of your digital source without downgrading to an FM Modulator. If you do this though you will still need the display which comes with the FM modulator so that you can see, and control what stations you are tuning. The Alpine part number to do this is KCA-121B.
So for instance say you have an Alpine radio. Switch the source to "AUX", and control the stations with eht external Kenwood controller
. . . one more thing fellas . . . you have to commit for one year
