I wonder why there is such a HUGE price difference b/w their 18's and 19's...it's something I noticed even before this GD...

Damn, is the price bad?

I'm looking at my bill and its $105/wheel more for the 19's than the 18's...I never questioned it... just thought that its a good price for 19's.

skandalouz Jan 21, 2004 02:49 PM

sometimes 19" isn't worth getting.... i've noticed that tires prices are jacked up pretty significantly also for 19s over 18s...but 1175 is still pretty cheap for 19" rims...

thinking about it...can you do better on taht 19" cause even though yes, that's a good price, that's a DAMN big jump for just 1"

doublea Jan 21, 2004 04:49 PM

Would 18 x 8 in front and 18 x 9 in the back, with no rub and would fit my 2k1. You are tempting me, but I would have to sell my TMW GTV first.

You know what guys...the people have spoken...new price is on the first post. Hope that will get everyone to buy.

big h Jan 21, 2004 05:30 PM

Sorry but that is absoluety the lowest...I'm sure I've probably ****ed off the vendors on this site by posting such a low price.

What size?....I can get anything from them.

Ammi Jan 21, 2004 08:05 PM

That wheel comes only in 18x7.5 and is available in silver/white. I'd have to check on pricing for you if you are interested. The only other wheels that come in the x8 sizing or bigger is the following:

Shadow 18x8 silver or chrome http://www.hpracing.com/images/produ...0-185-112C.jpg

Onyx 19x8 20x8.5 hyperlight silver or chrome http://www.hpracing.com/images/produ...15-195-12C.jpg

Storm 19x8 machined or hypersilver http://www.hpracing.com/images/produ...17-185-12L.jpg

for those interested PM me for pricing.

These are good prices big h. I'm just still wondering why HP jacks it up so much from 18" to 19" Most other companies will charge a couple hundred more, but not double? I mean it's the same finish, same materials, same cast process, same width, just 1" bigger diameter...

Also, will these clear my Precision/Wilwood BBK?

I'll call tomorrow, the 19x8.5's come with a +35 offset...but i will call to see what HP says.

Another company that has really questionable price structure is the Falken Wheels...their chrome prices are $200 extra per wheel = $800 extra per set.

derrick Jan 21, 2004 10:09 PM

big h for the 18's can you get them in gunmetal with a polished lip?

big h Jan 21, 2004 10:31 PM

I sure can but it will be in the next shipment, which is 2 weeks away. Hypersilver dark is not as dark as gunmetal you would see on other wheels. but more of a hypersilver color..really cool and the inside of the spokes are silver/black.

KLOOGY Jan 22, 2004 01:01 AM

I think some of you guys dont know that the difference between 18-19 is more than a rim or tire size. 19's are an exclusive size. You can get tires for 20's cheap all day long, because every ghetto car has them . 19's are exclusive to a few wheels, and cars.........

big h Jan 22, 2004 05:09 PM

Kloogy I have someone at HP looking into your set up...he did say that the 19x8.5 clear their own big brake kit.

Ammi Jan 22, 2004 07:48 PM

Got a price on hurricanes?
