This is for 85115. It comes with a pair (high and low notes) of Hella Supertone, relay and installation diagram.

MaximaPolak 08-23-2004 01:30 AM

is there any way we can get these a bit cheaper?

It would cost about $8 to ship it by FedEx Ground. You won't be able to find it cheaper than this. My friend only has 15 sets in stock right now and there is no wait for the GD to end. It will be first come first serve basis.

How would I hook them up into a 4th gen?? Do you have a write up?

It's totally plug n play. Just remove your stock horns and replace them with these. You just have to hook up the extra terminal on these Hella to a ground point on the chassis.

ZIPPIN 08-26-2004 07:29 PM

$$$$ coming your way. thanks for the GD

Bluesbrekr 08-27-2004 05:57 PM

$60 shipped is a great deal, IMO. Most places sell them for $69 plus shipping.

ZIPPIN 08-27-2004 07:50 PM

i can't wait to get mine and scare the cab-drivers. they will think a semi is on their tails. fuqing dumb a$$E$

00MaxSE 08-27-2004 10:15 PM

Hehe I want this, but not to scare cab drivers. Just to scare the sh!t out of punks that don't know how to fawkin drive!

Jay, would I have to find another place to ground these? You told me when we were doing my headlights that you shouldn't ground 2 things at the same location, right? I already have my ground for the fog rewire and DDE's. I'm running out of places.

And I have waaaay too many wires running around under my hood now. hehe

ZIPPIN 08-28-2004 12:13 PM

i have read that in the past, but i have 3 wires grounded in the same place for the hyper-grounding kit. post a q in the 5th gen threads...BTW, i am still waiting to see the pic of the clean wiring :)

AscendantMax 08-28-2004 03:05 PM

these are plug and play for all generations?

maximadave 08-28-2004 03:20 PM

00MaxSE 08-28-2004 04:28 PM

Changed your username huh? Well I'll get those pics up soon. I'm installing my UDP tonight.

Yes, It is plug n play. You only need extra wire to ground the extra terminal. These are pictures taken from an org member who bought the Hella from me. But I forgot who it is.

You can send me a MO too. I just thought PayPal would be faster and people would feel secure by paying with their credit card. E-mail me at b_r_setiawan@yahoo.com for my mailing address.

MaximaPolak 08-29-2004 12:47 PM

Well I'm still thinking (seems too much for me to spend on horns). Ebay has them for 66+shipping which is way more.

frankieduxAE 09-02-2004 04:46 PM

i just got these in the mail, thanks bsetiawan. is there anything else i need to buy to install the horns or is it just a direct replacement?

blkmaxx 09-02-2004 04:49 PM

ZIPPIN 09-02-2004 05:00 PM

Yup, They're great!! I love 'em. Loud is good....and these are loud.

bsetiawan 09-03-2004 09:56 AM

blkmaxx, I still have 12 sets of these Hellas. You can send the payment to b_r_setiawan@yahoo.com now since I've already sorted things out with PayPal.

-ZIPPIN-, You just have to remove the stock horns and replace them with the Hellas. Then you will need to make a wire to ground the extra terminal to the horn's mounting screw or other ground points on the car. You can click on the links in post #16 for pictures.

00MaxSE 09-03-2004 10:03 AM

Hmmm

If I can find 2 more places on my car that I can ground to, then I'll buy a set. :woot2:

I'm not familiar with the location of the horns on the 4th Gen. If it's easily accessible, I'll put them on for you. But I won't do it if I have to remove the bumper and such.
