If you want to test out the ride of these coilovers there are over 40 vehicles that I am aware of with these coilovers in Toronto. Audi, Civic, 240SX, RSX, Integra, WRX, MX6, they all love them. You can be the first Maxima

why is it 5k in the rear would be too soft for the struts? what would happen if you were to put 5k on them?

LOL...grow some and just make a decision, guys. It's not rocket science.

btw - it's not 5k, it's just a reference number. Somewhere earlier in this thread it gave the number of pounds related to the numbers. IIRC 5 = less than 300 lbs.

ha, just stick with your original choices, I think 9/6 will be a good comprise between ride and comfort and handling.

JIC's also have interchangable springs, with different spring rates. You just have to make a special request through JIC. Granted the A1's are twin tube which is aparently not as good, which would be the biggest draw back with the A1's. If I wasn't a skeptic, I probably would've jumped all over these as you guys have, however I tend to spend my money on things that aren't such a risk, which brings me back to my original post of saying congrats to all that got in on the deal, I will be anxiously awaiting all your reviews! I just think it's a little premature to be jacking up the prices considering all of your sets are still in transit, and there havn't been many reviews of these coilovers on our cars. Additionally, the reviews I have read havn't been all that promising considering all the problems people were having right off the start. I just think some of you misunderstood what I was trying to say.

Don't kid yourself. JIC is garbo.

Just curious as to why the 7/5 and 7/6 spring rates are too soft for the shocks? and who said that?

dropped to 3" inches the ride quality should stay the same due to the fact that you retain the same amount of suspension travel. What you should be concerned about is not getting too soft of a spring so as to not bottom out when you are dropped.

Any News on the actual delivery dates? Jus wonderin...

Hey mark. I was wondering if the supplier has given you a tracking number for your own reference. I remember I was ordering something from Hong Kong and even though it was international, they gave me all necessary info, including the arrival date. I understand it is different and much bigger, and was interested if you had any information about that. Thanks

11223 ..... Mark is there anyway that you can clarify as to WHY is it that you do not have a definite date as to when YOU are supposed to get them (not to mention us) ? I don't want to sound rude, but how is it that D2 cannot provide you with an exact date on such a large order?

this is soooooooooo exasperating....I'm not going on a trip so that I can sit at home and wait for these damn coilovers, and we still don't know where they are, or when they're coming. Begininning to think that maybe I should have listened to the warnings of the previous group buy members.

if everything goes smoothly, then yes they should be here no later than the first week of february. However, there are some things that Mark cannot control so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I am not dealing with D2 directly. I will try to request an exact date these will come in but from my past experience, there is never knowing how long customs can take so I rather not make promises. I will keep everyone posted. If your order has not yet been posted as being received, please post your zip code and I will look it up asap. I will only be checking up on this thread once every day or two as I have other offline matters to attend to this week.
