Also, are these kits bi-xenon (hi and low-beam)? If not, can anyone direct me to a group deal or otherwise good price for a pair of bi-xenon HIDs for a 4th gen Max? I know there's probably a thread or sticky somewhere detailing all this info but there's just too much info out there to for any one person to weed through. Thanx.

Is it worth getting HID bulbs for use with stock 4th gen reflector headlights? It's probably best to get projectors at the same time to maximize the light output of the HIDs right?

Can someone correct me if i'm wrong, but if I get a HID housing kit for my Maxima, can I be on the right side of the Law with these? Which is the kit that I should ebay or part search for if this is so? 1 More Question (since I know other people have more), i've seen some green Xenon bulbs on Ebay, will those work with these kits?
I forgot to mention I have a 96' Maxima, might help in choosing the correct housing...

1) do not buy green/
2) higher Kelvin means lower output
3) it depends on the kind of application - 9004 doesn't come in high low applications, but H4 do and you coudl theoretically make it fit.
4) Projectors with D2S will always be better, but the amount of retrofit is extensive.

HID produces less heat than halogen bulbs, so they shouldn't melt your headlamp assemblies. The "temperature" rating being talked about here is the color tempereature which does not affect the amount of heat produced by the bulb.

What about the retro-fit kits from HIDTECH.com? Are they high low kits?
Thanx.

I'm looking for a plug and play kit for my 2005 Max. Of course it doesn't have the HID option. I've heard that I need 9005 or 9006 bulbs. I'd like a deep blue color without much purple. Can you PM me a price shipped to 17055 on the correct kit. Thanks!

MaxesRule - you have an interesting style of questioning.
Maybe you could summarize it in one post and we'd be happy to help you out.
Alternatively you could easily call us if you wish, we can go over it with you.
Hamy - we have lots of those in stock. The price is given at call in or on the first page, we highly recommend the ProLumen product of course

Do I? Ooopps...That doesn't sound good. I realize I ask a lot of questions, but I'm very eager to learn so that's probably y. I just thought it'd be easier for you to answer the ones more pertinent to this post on here, rather than calling you to ask for answers for things talked about on this forum. Am I wrong? Sorry.
I do agree however, that I probably should call you with questions pertaining to my individual situation as opposed to asking them here. I didn't realize that it'd be an inconvenience. Sorry again.

The point isn't inconvenience, the point is that in 30 different posts, it's hard to consolidate the answers for you to make it easier for you to understand the issues and responses to them.
Give us a call, we'll help you out.

These pictures are taken by my Sony U-20 Cypershot w/ only 2.0 mega pixel. IMO it looks a lot better in person, but here is just some reference for you guys.
Prolumen 9004 HID kit at 6,000k. (yea i know the light beam is spread out, get projector lenses, blahblahblahba)
Close shot of the HID and its gay beam pattern.
Rear shot (it looks a lot brighter in person)

IMO this kit is great. i hope it'll last 5 years+ before it went out. i also adjust adjust the headlight and made it shoot down to the ground more cuz i don't wanna blind incoming cars. right now i'm still sitting on maxspeed, but when i install my tein s-tech end of this week i will adjust the headlight position again.
in addition, i don't have any side marker or corner light bulbs cuz i do not wanna spend time and money to match up those lights. i am sick of doin those hyperwhite/LED 1156 194 1157 shiet... at night the only thing that turns on is just the HID. nice, bright, and simple.
so this is what 9004 HID kit looks like. i hope it helps
