Brian, can the Eibach springs be put on them, because I am very happy with my set...

I just installed the KYB AGX 8-way adjustable on my rear so I may want to tighten up the front as well...

!PrjctMax! Jun 26, 2006 02:57 PM

Damn it, I wish I would have known this about a month ago or so. Because I just purchased 2 new front struts because they blew for $245.00 And now I see a possible G/B for I think something around $250.00 for all 4! Well at least I know this for the future. And I just got off the phone with Brian and he already gave me info about the availability of the full set, and I would definately buy those from him in the future.

Not sure, but reading Brians initial post, I think this is only for the front 2 struts, we have shocks in the rear...

You're absolutely correct about the terminology, so I'll rephrase to be clear - we're offering a full set of GR2s (2 front struts and 2 rear shocks) for an intro price of $215 including shipping.

Since the GR2s are new, I can't say that I know someone who's combined them with Eibachs, but these are both major brands and both are intended to replace the stock parts, so I can't imagine why they wouldn't work together.

I just mention the Progress because they're on sale, the Eibachs should work fine.

As embarassed as I am to admit it, I didn't do my homework, thanks for pointing that out. Check out the new starting message, you'll see that its completely revised.

We will match the other strut price and offer the best deal you'll find on the "complete" strut/shock/spring/RSB suspension package.

Brian, what color are they? because my rear KYB are red and I prefer to color match. And If there red, would you consider selling me just the 2 front struts? Thanks if not, I'll understand...

I think they're sort of grey, but I haven't actually seen them yet, so can't say for sure. Not necessary to purchase these as a set, we've been selling the front pair for months. Those will be $120 for both if purchased through the group deal.

There is a two day overlap with our broader suspensionsale, and you're welcome to the slightly lower prices on the springs and RSB if you order before end-of-day Friday, 30 June.

Sure, we take PayPal (from confirmed buyers with verified addresses). You can let us know what you want and we'll send back a PayPal invoice to respond to, or you can just send payment (to bcatts@cattman.com), let us know what you're purchasing, and provide a shipping address and phone number.

Just give us a call during office hours (520.575.6195, 10-5 MST, M-F), or you can send a PayPal payment (or request a PayPal invoice) anytime, as I've outlined in the previous msg on this thread.

Same here. I E-mailed him last week and got the same story.

swowlinc Jul 13, 2006 08:07 AM

Man, I was hoping to have them by this weekend. I can have all my org buddies help me put them on for free at the meet this weekend!!! :slant: Oh well.

OmarBadu Jul 13, 2006 10:45 AM

so when is the latest payment can be made to make the shipment date?

MAXDOUT04 Jul 13, 2006 12:08 PM

His shipment hasnt arrived to him yet so i guess you could pay now but you aint gettin nothing for a while thats why i did not pay yet

Cattman Jul 13, 2006 02:18 PM

Our regular practice is to not take a customer's money until the part's in our hands. This deal has been sort of goofed up because our KYB supplier (usually quite reliable) indicated that we'd have the GR2 struts right away, so we announced the deal and started taking orders. None of the CC-paid orders have been charged but obviously if someone pays via PayPal the funds are committed at that moment.

[I'm editing this to reflect new information...]

As it turns out, the darned GR2 struts have taken 2 weeks to arrive, but I've just confirmed that we should receive these late tomorrow (Friday) so we'll lose no time in shipping them out on MONDAY, 17 July. All of the other parts (Progress RSBs and springs) are in stock right now.

The actual shipping time is supposed to be 7 calendar days, but we've seen a lot of DHL shipments reach the east coast in 3 or 4 days, so its hard to say. When these go out, everyone will automatically be sent the tracking information from DHL.

This deal ends 31 July. The struts came in later than anticipated, so they're just starting to arrive now - I'm sure some comments will be posted.

Good idea! We still have parts on hand and the sale's been going well. I've pushed the end date back to 31 August and that's been edited into the opening sale thread.

Well preliminary tests conclude that these struts feel very good on the 6th. I really like the feel of my car now. I did the speed limit because I am missing 3 lug nuts now, but the ride is smoother, less bouncy and just nice... Thanks again Cattman. I am pleased.
