just went to part store for trans Axle assym . they ask me if my car is equiped with LSD ( limited-slip differential )

96 I30, Automatic

does my car equip with LSD? If not where can i find it?

You do NOT have the limited slip according to the tranny code you provided. To get one you have to install a new or used Viscous LSD tranny. That is your only option.

Ummm... it never actually says? It does say that all t's have VLSD, but the majority of t's have a manual, so I still don't know about the auto, sorry to sound dumb, but I'm not well versed in which transmissions had VLSD

damn, all 96-99 I30Ts regardless if they were autos or MTs came with LSDs, they were options on the standard car. I thought this was common knowledge around here......
