does your i30's dashboard hazard light light up at night?

i just installed a dashboard from a 96 i30t into my maxima and was just wondering if the led might be out. thanks

Yes, it is supposed to light up when you turn the car lights on. I believe the following should light up as well:

defrost light, all radio and AC buttons, dimmer switch, and cruise controll.

Just FYI, my hazard LED bulb is out and so I called to see how much it would be to replace the whole button and it is rather expensive. I wanna say around $55? Anyway, you may want to just purchase an LED and sauder it in there to fix it.

Hope that helps. Enjoy your new dash!

does the gas lid popping button light up? i installed that today and it isn't illuminating so i'm not sure if it is supposed to.

Dr.Monkey1313 Jun 16, 2005 07:09 PM

I don't think it is supposed to. I am not 100% on that, but I am pretty sure. I have wondered the same thing and I wish it did light up. :)

Gas pop is not supposed to light up.

That's pretty cool, now you have the illest hiding spot in the world, the vent's and clock yank right out and you can fit alot above the air duct, an ex service manager at norwood showed that to me and my freind, we use it quite a bit, lol.

No, mine doesn't. When I got my LED's done it did for a little, but is now back out again. WTF?

i dont know after the accident ive been jsut too depressed ... i mean it was just fender bender.. btu now i need new bumper cover.. and other things of that sort.. so i dont knwo... just depressed and lack of drive to do these things...

i even seperated and labled the navigation (OEM NISSAN one) wires out and stuff got the antenna(GPS) and alll .. then lost the drive after the accdient now sitting in my closet..

i dont know...

PS. talking about leds i also made my own led bulb for the brake light.. it worked pretty well.. only thing sis using resistors they get hot and its a pain to keep metal contact down.. and im too lazy to formulate the single resistor way... so imma opt for teh led tower blubs of ebay see how that goes.. but incase anyoen wants to try..

put a bunch of leds togehter and jsut put hem facing diff directions into teh taillight and u get great led tails.. for i30 with crystal tails only...

p.P.S. Mutes you post whore how is ur car comming along.. i rmember we used to have same amount of posts.. until u started posting "yeah" and stuff liek that in threads.. heheheh
