ok well i have the paradox 96-99 I30 kit. it was probably the worst fitting kit i have ever put on any car i owned. in fact the pics of my car on his website are after the bodyshop had to fit everything on the car. and it still doesnt fit the way i would like it to. it pretty much needs to be molded onto the car. the fiberglass is also paper thin. u can see through it if u hold it up to the light. it has stress cracks and all sorts of imperfections.

It's always kinda pi$$ed me off that the paradox kit is FG and that no matter how many times I asked, I have still NEVER seen a picture of the rear skirt.

I think I remember the ST-R lips (front) being something like $200-$250 shipped, but I'm not exactly sure on that.

probably because it doesnt fit, like the rest of the stuff that he has. the rears on my 97 are 2 different shapes. the kit looks like it was made by a 12 year ol. yea its sweet to have the only I30 with the kit so far but i would rather have made one from scratch cause at least i know it would have fit perfect.

For some reason Paradox doesn't have their I30 clear sidemarker lights listed anymore for sale.

Probably cuz they werent selling them at $70 a pop. I busted one of mine, and there is no way I'm going to pay $70 for the one light I need.

I'll just have to perform surgery instead!

Try a bigger o-ring to seal them. I think that is where most of the moisture comes from.

Dang it! That was going to be my next mod. Now I'm not so sure I'd want one of their sidemarkers even if they were available.

Wow that's a pretty damning review. The only thing I don't understand is if it's so cheaply made why are they charging so much for it.

i had an intake from these folks and i liked it. the only reason i changed it was that i finally found a black intake from nismo( yes i have a fetish for the color black). if i knew the Nismo intake would be such a biatch to install i would have stayed with the CosmoRacing one.

i believe intially they wanted more for the kit. I know before everyone was saying how much they want the kits, it took about 8-12 months to get them here and i guess everyone bailed out. so far on every piece theres at least one stress crack that i see, with the front lip on the car the front is 4 1/2 inches off the ground, which is completely impractical for a fiberglass piece. not to mention if its windy out it will probably explode. i dealt with harry personally, great guy, hooked me up really good. but for the time and money it would take me to get the kit the way I want it would probably take 700-1000 worth of body work. i may actually have these pieces mimiced in CF or have them overlayed since they would need to be fit on anyway.

Well, if you wanted a Diana Kit.. it would have cost about $2500-$3000 shipped to USA (Front, Rear full Bumper replacement, plus side skirts and 3 piece VIP wings all made in Fiber Glass)... So Paradox's kit is probably a bargain (I haven't seen the paradox I30 kit personally so I don't know the quality.)....

sy do you have pics of this diana kit? the paradox kit is a bargain if u like to spend around a total of 2's with body work to make it fit and look the way its supposed to. and its only a lip kit. the diana kit would probably be my best bet considering the car is going to be a trailer queen by spring time.

those aren't miroors, they are covers they come in chrome, and you can paint them any color you want.

Wow Phil, Nice reviews.
Yes, there was an issue with some of the fiberglass in the kits. It was addressed and replaced. The damaged ones were all destroyed.
As for fitment, you said your bodyshop could not install the kit, stating that fitment was entirely off. I had you goto my bodyshop and they showed you that it could be installed and that yours was doing something wrong. The kit fit fine when it left that shop. The "way you would like it to" fit is a molded kit. This is a lip kit and it will not look like a molded kit without extra work. If there was REAL interest from the I30 community, I could have had it developed in a more forgiving material. Thank goodness I didn't waste the money. The kit is guaranteed to fit. It was shown to CreativeDesignz that it did. I had to go through a lot to get the kit manufactured for a small community that had always said it wanted a kit. I managed to get one manufactured and suddenly there was no interest.
The rears you never mentioned to me were an issue and comparing the rears that I have, I don't think it is. I had always tried working with you DESPITE the fact that you never came through on the sponsorship agreement that we had.

The reason the pricing is higher than most is simply because most manufacturers require a large quantity order. I managed a smaller production run but unfortunately at a higher cost. The price has already dropped and on top of that, we're having another sale this week.

The I35 rear pics are admittedly slow but I am getting them soon. Working full time and running Paradox doesn't allow me much time to get home while its daylight to take pics. Smaller stuff I can do indoors but that piece is too big. I am trying to do so this week, with the oncoming downtime around Thanksgiving.

Edit: I'd like to point out that the pics in the sticky about the A32 kit were of Phil's car upon exiting my bodyshop. Looks fine to me.
