Wheel spacers

I dont know if any of you have noticed this, but the rear wheels and somewhat the front wheel arnt the even with the fender. Does anyone know where i can get spacers to make my rear and front ones a little more even.

Thanks,
Chuck

One more thing, if i were to but these g35 rims

would the wheel/rim come even with the fender?

You can get some H&R 5mm and 15mm spacers to help with that, but I think if you get the G35 wheels the offset is less, so they will be more flush with the fender. Nice user name BTW.

So is it safe to say that there is 10mm difference in the front and rear offsets if you only want to even out the rear??

I believe a 20mm spacer on the stock wheel brings out the rear flush to the fender. I have a DIY guide link to installing one, will post it later when I am home.

1. I did not make the guide, I don't have a Maxima
2. Please read the site again to find the brand

Will the 20mm spacers be able to fill in the gap between teh wheel and the fender

Measuring tape/ruler > you.

I put 15mm H&R spacers on my rears. The kit is hubcentric and includes the proper length studs for installation.

15mm doesn't come quite flush with the fenders, but it looks a lot better than stock and does not rub at all. Keep in mind that I am also dropped on Eibach springs. With my setup, I am of the oppinion that 20mm spacers would probably rub on large dips.

That's weird. Maybe I30s maybe be a tad different from maximas. I had the 15mm's in the rear and I rubbed under hard cornering and a full tank of gas.

Did you recenter your beam? I have to do that in the spring in hopes of curing my rubbing problem.

Was that with your 19s though? I think Newlove is still on his OEM 16" wheel + tire combo, so beam centering aside, it'll be different for everyone depending on wheel offset + tire profile and width.

I know you know I run 25mm spacers in the rear, but I had my own set of problems there...

Yeah, that was with the 19s. Did you recenter your beam yet? You haven't responded to my IMs.

LOL, sorry man, I've been between 2 computers, so by the time I get your IMs you're usually signed off.

Nahh, I haven't re-centered the beam yet. It's not a priority as I'm no longer rubbing ATM.

Oh, gotcha.

Check this thread I started for info on spacers to make the rear wheels even with the fronts. I have some good links in the last post:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....hlight=spacers

Basically, 15mm spacers on a 4th gen Max or equivalent I30 (and probably a 5th gen Max/I35) will make the rears stick out ever so slightly more than the fronts without any spacers. This assumes all 4 wheels have the same size and offset, of course. It's nice to have a tiny stagger (with the rear track wider than the front) and since you can't get 10mm spacers 15mm is ideal. 20mm would be fine too.
