Time for lighting upgrade part 2! Only this time I am having a pro retro my foglights for me :laugh: since I just don't have time.

The ingredients:

2x OEM I35 foglights
2x Bosch mini H3 projectors
6000K H3c HID kit

Since I just shipped everything out, I don't have any pics to show yet. But I will update the thread when there is progress :D

But I can show a few pics of what to expect from the finished product taken from HIDplanet.

Next is picking a bezel, and then painting everything gunmetal to match my headlights :D

also is there a yellow cover over your fogs, or is the pic?

that is a pic of the output on another car, he was using yellow bulbs IIRC

Sweet! Is this someone you know thats doing the work for you or is there a business that does this?

It is being done by linuxglobal from HIDplanet.com, he is one of the "pro" retrofitters there. Very nice guy, and affordable too!

I know him. He is from canada also. i am a retrofiter also and can say thathe does wonderful work and pretty cheap for what he does.

Yep, very nice guy too, does everything I ask in terms of paint, mods...etc.

That looks awesome. I wish I had clear lense fog lights, the output on those things blows my projector retrofitted fog lights out of the water.

Blah, AC was crap this weekend. I had to entertain co-workers and teach them so we sat at the small $5-10 tables with the newbies. Lost a good amount, but made back half of it in 20 min after I was playing by myself at the $25 table.

good to hear that you won. Didn't know that they have $5 - $10 tables on a weekend. Did you make it back from playing poker? (haha, as usual)

It looks good even with the cell phone pics. When you take more pics, try to get a wall shot comparing fogs alone and fogs with headlights if you can.

That really is an awesome set of lighting you have on your car looking forward to seeing some daytime pixs...

headlights are lookin' mean. I like it! A++

Just noticed those were fogs only...holy somebody lol They look niicceee. Think those projectors would fit in 5.5 gen fog housing? Also, can these be aimed after installed? As in if i drop the car.

The projectors are TINY, I am pretty sure it would fit inside your fog. And yes it can be aimed, since you will be attaching the projector to the reflector, and the reflector is the one being moved during aiming.

GAINTS!!!!! BABY GIANTS!!!! LOL sunday was crazy!!! anyway good output from the fogs they brighter than my halogen headlights with the fogs on. :-(

Didn't work out, the fogs alone weren't intense enough to light up the road. But, my foreground lighting is now insane.
