have never wanted to murder my car more than i did today

so today i went about trying to unjam my sunshade that seemed to be stuck on something slightly turns out i would find out many things as i was doing this. so a couple of days ago i had suspicion that my rear windshield had been replaced because the defroster sucked compared to my other i35. it turns out i was right and as i started to take the seats apart to get to the rear deck there was glass everywhere under them and it got into the sunshade slot and was jamming it so i had to shop vac all of it out. taking the deck out and all those pieces was the most time consuming thing ever and frustrating SO MANY LITTLE PIECES!
but its fixed now. tomorrow my HID bulb comes in the mail and i swap that with the fading one and iv heard that isnt too easy to do either. no wonder working on our cars costs so damn much

At least (I guess) you found out the sunshade isn't really broken. Was the car ever in an accident that would have shattered the back window or maybe something just hit it? For the HID bulb, I'd imagine the service manual says how to change it. Did you ever get it from online? And good luck murdering a car with a VQ35 under the hood lmao

Little things come along with a used car with an unknown history. It's all good man. Take your time, don't get frustrated. Letting little things like this bother you will only make you hate the car in the end. Hope it all works out. If anything, take it to a local electronics shop and have them replace the bulb if you aren't able to, or try to shmooz over your local Infiniti dealer and have them do it.

nah the car is in great condition no accidents something broke the window tho but i got it all working and cleaned up. and i can do it and want to since i like to learn how my cars go together, its just a tad time consuming. and yea seeing that the engine is basically bullet proof i think it would end up murdering me lol

also i could never hate this car, its an import it obviously will have more pieces and more things to take apart than a american single plastic piece dashboard car would lmao

Try working on German cars. They are even more tedious than Japanese cars.

Yes. In these cars, the precats and rings will do that job for you.

lol luckily im not burning any oil which i also just got changed today and wow what a difference in performance and responsiveness! i replaced the license plate bulbs today the rear sidemarkers ill do tomorrow as well as the passenger xenon which came in the mail today. these costs add up quick but ill take these small expenses over the huge ones any day the previous owner got all the big maintenance done at 80k. driver side heated mirror isnt working so i need to check that out so maybe somethings loose. its a few little things that anyone else (besides me) would care about lol and yea my friend has a 03 audi a4 1.8t and that thing is the biggest pain in the *** to work on his maintenance bills are through the roof wipers are $75 each LOL!
