Need some help,my mechanic who does some general work on my I35 recently replaced two value covers,spark plugs and a intake gasket and breather hose.I now have service engine soon light on the dash and i am pulling a Po174 code saying lean condition bank two,also cleaned the mass airflow sensor,also replaced air mass meter boot that was cracked.Still pulling the code,car drives good but idles badly,any ideas.

P0174 is Fuel injection system too lean on bank 2. Bank 2 is the side of the engine towards the radiator. Possible causes are:

Intake air leaks
Heated oxygen sensor 1
Injectors
Exhaust gas leaks
Incorrect fuel pressure
Lack of fuel
Mass air flow sensor
Incorrect PCV hose connection

Since the intake manifold gasket was replaced, I would check that for an air leak. Spray some starting fluid or brake cleaner or any flammable substance along the manifold where the gasket is. You do it while the car is idling and if the gasket is leaking, the rpm will go up when the flammable liquid is sucked in. You can also try it around any vacuum line or the mass meter boot, etc. Avoid getting anything on a painted surface as it may eat the paint, i.e., brake cleaner.
