Are the 2002 Qx4 and I35 non-heated steering wheels interchangeable? The Qx4 in question is an '02, and the I35 is an '02. Thanks in advance

The following is the 2002 Qx4 steering wheel. It looks completely identical like the I35 steering wheel. but when I called the infiniti dealership, they said the part number is different it won't fit.

If anybody can help me out would really appreciate that.

I'm pretty sure they are interchangeable. I don't think many people on here have swapped stock steering wheels much between models. You could take measurements to confirm, or just take the airbag off and size it to the QX4 wheel.

I have a black/wood i35 wheel available. It pretty much looks the same as the qx4 wheel but perhaps the wood tone is slightly different and that's why the dealer says they aren't the same.

The wheel pictured up top will work fine. There are quite a few compatible wheels. Recently the plastic wood grain took a dump on my '03 i35 steering wheel. I went to pick n pull and found a wheel from an '01 i30 worked killer. I also saw that some maxima's and Altima's have the same shaped wheel. Don't worry about the radio controls because those are stuck to the airbag module.
