It's funny how I showed the headers to my mechanic, and he had the same concerns that your mechanic did. He wasn't worried about putting on the headers. He was worried about the manifold bolts! He basically explained, if the bolt heads are extremely corroded, then we are in trouble.
But I'll get those headers on, one way or another.

yeah, its not that it cant be done, just not as easy as it seems on paper/internet. Im sure a good mechanic can do it, mine just didnt want to risk me being without my car longer then expected. Worst case is they snap and the head gets pulled. Those parts are the best and should fit real nice. I will be putting the y on this weekend. just got the gaskets
