I got ripped off by MaxiMike. He sent me a defective 1997 5spd ECU.
I paid $95 via paypal to julua_juan@yahoo.com I got the ECU today, swapped it into my 1996 I30 and got 15 DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes). I erased the codes and took my car for a drive. Everything seems fine but CEL came back on again. This time there were 19 DTCs. All of them emissions related.
I swapped my 1996 AT ECU back and I only get DTCs related to my auto tranny not being there, no emissions DTCs.
This guy did not want to take the ECU back, as a result, I am leaving negative feedback.
