FS: 2001 Maxima AE Auto
My Maxima is for sale for good. The drive and over drive gears went out in the transmission so I bought a newer Altima to get me by since I couldn't have the down time. It does have first and second, and is driveable. A wedding is also in the plans for next year, I'm in school almost full time, work full time and tore the tendons and ligaments in my shoulder in January (no real heavy lifting) so I need to cut all the fat that I can from the budget (since we are paying for most of the wedding) so the Maxima goes bye-bye. Here are the details for now since I am at work typing this.
2001 Charcoal Grey Maxima with Auto transmission and Frost color interior
20% window tint all the way around
151K miles at it sets at the moment
Radiator, T-stat and hoses where replaced last spring
The car is currently on Eibach front with Tokico blues (~15K on the struts). I do have Tokico Blues and H-tech springs for the rear, just not installed.
Comes with the following:
-Stillen upper strut bar
-Progress rear anti-sway bar (brand new, never installed)
-17" AE wheels and tires (prior owner gave them some bad curb rash and tires are shot)
-18" 350Z Touring rims and Yoko AVS100 tires (rims are in really good condition and tires are in need of replacement but you could have some fun with them)
-18" 6th Gen Maxima rims and Hankook Ventus tires (rims are in really good condition, 2 rear tires are ~6-7/32nds, the 2 front are about 3/32nds or less)
-Warpspeed (IIRC) Y-pipe (it has been shot peened to the bare metal and painted with 3 coats on BBQ flat black)
-anything else I find that goes with it that I don't need
The not so good part:
-the cat-back exhaust need to be replaced but I have one that has been painted BBQ flat black to replace it
-the seat air bag light flashes (I tried the reset but that didn't help and I can never seem to get the process correct either)
-the power steering return line leaks ($150 from the stealership)
If I remember anything else I will edit this post accordingly. Ask any questions if you need more details or photos. Asking $2400 OBO. I've priced this to get it gone. I don't have the title current as I still owe on it. If this is an issue then we can work that part out. I also have plenty of feedback on other forums and Ebay to back me up.
