Dyno or Dragrace or Both?

Pick one?
Dyno $50 to $70
Dragrace $25 to run or $15 to watch
Both

I need to know soon so I know exactly what to plan for Saturday all day. If both I might have the dyno the same day as the BBQ, but the Dyno will be only a few mins away from the BBQ location if possible.

SgtSchulze 05-21-2007 05:38 AM

I voted Dyno.

liqidvenom 05-21-2007 08:23 AM

bbq and dyno sounds about right for a sat.

drag racing would be fun but you would need a good number of people to attend, either max.org or atleast peoples from other forums.

you think you could have a bbq at a drag strip with a mobile dyno show up? that might make your schedualing alot easier

Xmax 05-21-2007 10:58 AM

I looked at a mobile dyno, but its $350 to rent and another $50 per car, for three runs.

liqidvenom 05-21-2007 11:28 AM

yeah the only reason i say to have the mobile dyno is that people can eat and mingle while others can dyno and people that are on the fence about it would see cars dynoing and wish to get in on it as well. but ether way is cool since ill be down to for watever

internetautomar 05-21-2007 06:22 PM

:gotme: I won't make it to either

Mr.Duck 05-23-2007 08:51 AM

if we do a dyno day, im pretty sure it we will only be able to fit in 20 cars MAX, but if we do that it will be only like 30-35 dollars for either 2 to 3 runs

on the other hand, if we go to the drag strip anyone can participate, its all up to the majority on this one.. but if no one votes than we dont know what to do...

BlackBIRDVQ 05-23-2007 10:18 AM

If I don't have to work I will do the dyno. I will go to watch, no drag racing for me.

00MaxSE 05-23-2007 03:22 PM

Dyno is good.

We were also, unfortunately it's alil long on time and the scheduling just didn't lend itself with shops, and tracks. It looks like we will be doing drag racing at the moment. If anything it will be interesting to see some Maximas run, ans some other locals. Either way, there are other things planned for the day in which to keep people intersted.

Xmax 05-24-2007 12:08 PM

Monday can be a the dyno day, but from the looks of it majority of the people will be leaving on Sunday. I'll talk to a few shops to see how their schedule looks on Monday for those that are staying an extra day or two.

95turbo gxe 05-24-2007 12:16 PM

yeah Well im not leaving itill tuesday night

We were trying for that, but most shops are currently busy working weekends. If you guys want a dyno day, I'm sure we can work something for Monday. Besides from the looks of it there was going to be a small number of people Dyno'ing

Epacy 05-28-2007 07:31 PM

I would like both.
I am in town the previous week till Sun. Won't be able to do the Mon after.
