Thank you very much for the reply! I have already replaced the purge valve and the canister comes today. I'll check those hoses you're referring to. If I can solve this I'll definitely let you know. Thank you for your time and input!!!

Hey guy, I honestly never bothered fix it. I don't have emissions here, and I can easily reset the code, so I never replaced anything. I did check some stuff on my car though. The code changes sometimes just to tell me I have a small or gross leak, so it's just something on the line. Could be the plunger or charcoal canister, which are worth replacing, but I'd also check your hoses, especially the ones that attach to the upper intake manifold. There's a module they plug into there. My hoses on that are extremely hard and have started to crack apart.

I did find that the P1456 code disappears in the cold because the computer will only read that the EVAP system is failing if the temperature is above like, 40 or something.

Hey Cotozic, I have a quick question for you and am desperately seeking your help. You had a P1456 code that vanished in the cold. I have been having the same issue for the 2nd year now. I have replaced the purge valve but the light remains. I ordered a new canister $$$ that I pick up tomorrow but before I try it, did you ever pin point the problem you had with yours?

I would really really appreciate your help... it will be saving me a ton of money and frustration.

Thank you so much for your time,

I don't have any videos, but I could make one. It does drone. It has a 14" magnaflow resonator, a resonated test-pipe, and a Magnaflow muffler with the BRM 3" setup. It's a pretty loud growl. Very low pitch. The drone is pretty low, and is worst when cruising at around 2300 rpm. With music, you can hardly hear it, and I tune it out rather quickly. You can definitely hold a conversation over it. My passengers quickly adjust.

You have any videos of how your car sounds? I am interested in how your exhaust setup sounds. Does it drone?
