My little bro's new car NEW WHEELS!! pics on bottom of page.

My 17 year old brother just got his first car. he is pretty excited. The car was previously owned by FST96SE. The car had nos which we removed and,(dry kit, purge kit, remote bottle opener, bottle heater, and blanket) will be up for sale. The rear bumper has a big hole from a truck. The front has some cracks from parking curbs. The body kit will soon be replaced with stock bumpers and stillen front and rear lips. Its a real fun car to drive, im hoping he starts autoxing because it handles really well for such a big car.

You don't see those M-bumpers around much. Car looks really nice. I would start from scratch though. It feels better when you know you've done everything yourself.

:sprint: I loved starting out stock, and sometimes wish I could even go back and do things different. I can't even imagine buying an already-modded car like that.

SRpowered240 Aug 7, 2006 08:25 AM

for a kid that is 17 and a senior in high school it works. He wouldnt be able to afford modding it being in school. I would much rather do it all myself but he is happy. My first car was a vw fox  nothing compared to a modded max.

Lucky 17 year old, my first car was a 1982 Chevy Chevette, remember those things. :bowrofl: Got me around though.

Phillie Aug 7, 2006 08:55 AM

Yeah my first car was a Ford Probe GT which died on me within a year... your bro is lucky

SRpowered240 Aug 7, 2006 09:02 AM

my parents bought it for him. He would have had to buy his own car, but the poor kid had cancer so it was a pretty scary time for our family. He is all good now, cancer is all gone, so he is excited about his car.

glad you are swappin the bumpers, it will look real nice afterwards. take off that big nissan badge from the trunk while you are at it.

and for heads up. swap to 97-99 bumpers and trunk !

SRpowered240 Aug 7, 2006 11:00 AM

ya i think he wants to do the swap on the trunk too because he likes the red/clear tailights like on yours. BTW your car is sexy...

Lumberg™ Aug 7, 2006 07:39 PM

sweet pick up...97-99 conv with stillen kit will look very nice...hope you can match that paint if it's custom

SRpowered240 Aug 7, 2006 07:43 PM

I hope they can match the color. Its the stock arctic white. Ive heard it is difficult to paint.

ethnic6 Aug 7, 2006 09:06 PM

wow, that is one lucky kid... my first car was a 93 Honda Accord with a busted steering wheel

915Max Aug 8, 2006 03:26 PM

nice ride!! I like the look on it. I think I would stick with the m-bumper just because not too many Maxima's have them, but the stillen is a good choice!
Hats off to your brother for the ride and for beating cancer :doublethu

wetzelman1 Aug 8, 2006 07:52 PM

First car?!?! If that was my first car either it would get totalled or I would be dead. No way I would ever drive under 80mph.

2 Da Max Aug 8, 2006 09:31 PM

dam definately a nice first ride

sloppymax Aug 10, 2006 10:33 AM

my only small suggestion would be swapping the plugs for the stock heat range since the nitrous came off.

ajcool2 Aug 10, 2006 11:30 AM

My max was my first car. But I was 20 when I got it. Nice car BTW.
