gpt some new toys for the Z

Got them on last week. Went with the Volk GT-S sizes 19x9.5 +17 front and the 19x10.5 +18 rear in Mercury Silver. All i have to say is they look MUCH better in person. Also got the varis air duct put on and the windows tinted on saturday morning.

Look at the lip on the rear. IT'S 5 INCHES DEEP!!!!!:)

I love it! what'd you do with the old wheels you had on there?

Dark99GLE 05-28-2007 01:07 PM

holy crap! you could hide in those wheels if it started raining!

LA02MAX 05-28-2007 01:16 PM

Yeah the lip is insane on those things. If your old volks weren't so wide I'd buy them :)

Squirrel82 05-28-2007 01:21 PM

Beautiful wheels

Tatanko 05-28-2007 02:16 PM

Don't much care for the air duct (even if it's functional) but the rest of the car is HOT :D

Dood... ram air! :grinno:

Wheels look great maing.

chris'smax 05-28-2007 02:23 PM

thanks for the comments fellas. Yeah the air duct is something either you hate or love (i love it:ben: ).

I just sold the old wheels friday evening. I liked them, but due to the sizes i was having some noticable understeer. These puppies cured that and then some. Car handles SOOOO much better.

I curl up and take naps in them everyday. You can see the drool stains on the lips if you look close enough.

Duckman540i 05-28-2007 03:29 PM

QnzMax 05-28-2007 05:35 PM

Those rims are SICK man. Love it.

markd248 05-28-2007 06:06 PM

I love that air duct. Did you do that yourself or is it made by some company?

99grnmaxgxe 05-28-2007 06:10 PM

Looks lovely!

The duct is made by Varis. Just have to cut the hole in the bumper

And I thought I was doing something with my 9.5's in the back lol. If I would have known 10.5's looked like that I would have gotten them.

hey 9.5's are still respectable:)

irish44j 06-13-2007 07:53 PM

wheels are ok. I've always like the air duct on the Z...makes it look more aggressive.

rchpi 06-19-2007 06:09 PM

Looks pretty darn good

netcbc 06-19-2007 07:59 PM

Sweet Z!!!

Zack342 06-24-2007 06:11 PM

have you had oil consumption issues with your Z yet?

LA02MAX 06-24-2007 06:56 PM

Yeah, he told me that it has started to burn oil....

chris'smax 06-27-2007 05:17 AM

yea but after some research it wasn't any significant amount. It burns a little less than a quart every 3,500 miles which isn't a significant amount for a sports car. I am going to keep a close eye on it and probably switch to amsoil + a oil pan spacer to up the oil holding capacity.

HEIGES 06-27-2007 10:32 AM

wow that looks good!
