Sorry I'm not the greatest photographer but I was still excited to get the pictures of my new to me max up after months of posting without actually owning the car. Its a 1999 GLE I bought from from my father. He had driven it only 85,000 KM babied the whole way. Him being in his 60s and me not quite 40 I need to change a few things to make it fit me a bit better. I'm on H&R springs and Iluminas. 17 inch Enkei Evo 5s with 215/50 Kumho ASX tires and a reactive strut tower bar. The only other exterior mod were the clear corners.

The interior of the car is beyond mint but the stock Bose had to go. There is also a single 10 inch alpine sub in the trunk just to add a little bump without disturbing the kids too much.

I tried to keep it as conservative as possible and I'm pretty happy with the way the hyper black rims look on this color car.

Shave the trunk and get some Red/Clears to match the front clear bumper lights. Otherwise look good and it's in great condition! Any plans for other mods?

The nissan emblem basically fell off the trunk (very hot day) so the shaving is already started I guess. With the chrome trim on the GLE I'm kinda torn on if I really like the emblem free trunk. If more starts to fall off anyways I'll probably do the whole thing.

Clearing the rears is tempting but trying to get the car for hours to do it is another thing since I have two small kids and only one car.

The muffler has a lot of rust on the outside (darn Nova Scotia road salt) so likely will be replaced soon. Since a muffler really gives little performance improvement and I'm not interested in just being nosy probly just stock equivalent.

I would like to consider the headlight mod though as the stock bulbs really suck.

I'd recommend doing a photoshop of your car with and without the emblems to see which you like the look of better to you. That way you can really decide. Also remember that you can replace the emblems if you remove it and don't like it.

Also you can buy red/clears in the classifieds section or find some on ebay. I bought mine in the classifieds for like 30 dollars. So just take your time and look around for tails. That's actually another thing you could photoshop to see if you like or not.
