Awesome, and great choice in tires. although you might want to go down a bit on width, 255/40 is a bit much for an 8J wheel.
For example, check out how much of the tire is actually contacting the ground in that picture. You've only got 70% of the tire's width in contact with the ground because it's bubbling over since you're cramming it onto an 8J wheel. If you had this on a 9J then 90% of the tread would be contacting the ground under normal load. If you had a 235/45 you would probably be putting more rubber on the ground, and the car would feel more responsive.
Also, are you using the K24 block or the block/crank/rods/pistons etc (what's the current displacement)? I'm not familiar with the bore or stroke of any K series.

i usually don't like dc5's, but it seems like you have a nice one built. clean up the exterior a little, maybe new rims and a lower it a tad more and it will be sick..
in for pics of the engine bay...

Sick car. I always like seeing them on the road. Great engine for boost or NA, gotta love that.
Any plans for some dyno time, or even track times?
Aren't those injectors just a hair or 2 on the large side?

That is the best looking set up i've ever seen. Please post pics of the engine bay when it's all done with, because that's and amazing build.
I want a DC5, but they are hard to find in my price range. Keep up the good work man.

I'm using the entire K24 block, previously it was 2.0 L. K24 crank, rods, pistons, etc. With the exception of a K20 oil pump because the K24 one isn't as good. All K20s are 89mm x 89mm (bore/stroke), the K24s are all 87mm x 99mm. My rev limiter has to drop from 8800rpm to 7500rpm When it comes to Honda engine codes, first letter is the series, next two numbers is the displacement in L, then the revision (I guess you can say).
I'm still waiting to get my head back from the shop either tonight or tomorrow. Once I get it back I'll have my motor done within an hour or two after that and put in back in the car ASAP. I'm going to get it tuned ASAP also when it's done...so within the next two weeks. As far as the track, I'm not sure when the tracks around here (Chicagoland) close for the season
Thanks, when these pictures were taken I actually didn't have my Tien coilovers installed on the rear. I installed the front the day before I believe but had to wait until the upcoming weekend to install the rear ones. Car was also dirty when photoshoot was taken. Whenever the car is done !PrjctMax! is going to detail it for me

True, but you also have to factor in the tire pressure. When going to the track it'll be dropped down phenomenally which will let just about the entire surface be in contact with the ground. Nobody really goes with 9" wide on these cars due to rubbing issues/sticking out/looking funny/etc. The 255s will hopefully give me traction in through entire third gear (1st and 2nd gear, in my dreams) when at proper pressure. Sucks to have such power but front wheel drive not being able to handle it.

You've done up the RSX pretty much the way I'd have liked to do it, performance first (including handling), very subtle visual mods and a really clean look--honestly that's probably the most badass RSX I've seen to date. When you go HIDs, PLEASE be a baller and do a retrofit.

Yeah, I haven't heard of anyone putting a 9J on any teg, kudos for stuffing so much rubber in there. If you don't think a 235/45 will give you enough straight line grip then I understand (although that is debatable)... but it would handle considerably more crisply, and drastically dropping pressure will give you a lot of mush in the corners (the sidewall will roll over more than a 235/45 as well) making the difference even more noticeable. You got any videos of the car in action?
However, I'd love to hit up a real road course someday instead of dodging cones in a parking lot--but that's just my preference.
No videos though...and frustrated because didn't get my head back from the shop tonight!!

This picture was taken a few days before I pulled the motor (notice no intake)...but it'll look pretty much the same when done (except a LOT cleaner):
Crappy interior shot of the guages:

next time i find myself in illinois i want a ride in this! This is seriously the set up I'd love to go with if I could get a DC5. That or just make it a N/A screamer. Now I'm just waiting for videos when it's all done and ready to go.

Haha, shoot me up a PM if you ever come...

Salad-bar Wing needs to go its a FWD car. Other then that she looks nice, +1 on the headlights. Mine started having that problem not too long ago, good wet sand and wax they will look like new!

There is no Acura in Japan they are sold under the Honda name there, its mad tight JDM YO!

Nice RSX, my friend had one on boost 350whp (that thing was a friggin MONSTER).. and then he changed it up and went all motor because his axles were always breaking and it still ran real nice with I/H/E-Kpro

It's still a honda. Get it through your head. It's made by honda, it's a honda at heart. Yes here they badge it as acura, however in it's "home country" it is not an acura, and there is no acura. Therefor people are going for the JDM look, just like people get their maxima cefiro stuff. Same idea, different parts.

EVERY part on the car says honda but my steering wheel. i figure if my windows and motor and headlights housing and everything else say honda on them why shouldn't the car
..that is no "salad bar" wing it comes factory as an option. unlike MOST spoilers, it is actually useful because it follows the car's body line
