Thanx. whats KT3? lol

People tell me about the glare.

But it doesnt bother me at all. I love they way they light the road. Perfect for me.

96blkonblkse Nov 22, 2007 12:35 AM

haha i tried to use that philiosphy..as long as i can see im happy, but then i started thinking of how i re-acted to these people who had blinding lights. I then decided to make my own glare shields and they turned out to be a pretty good success.

KT3 = sterling mist.

Actually my friend said that they would have a horrible glare before i bought them. But i drove behind him today and he said that they weren't that bad.

And i also drove behind my other friend, i asked him if i was blinding him, he said no.

So i guess its just the ****ty shot. lol

wiggafly808 Nov 22, 2007 02:11 AM

Nice pics, but "light the road"? It appears only a small area in front of the car is being lit up. I dont see how they could be illuminating the road very well without them being focused and instead scattered the way they are. Sorry, but Ive never been a fan of HIDs in refeclective housings. Color is ok I guess, but output is crap compared to projectors. Also shouldnt this post been put up in the members ride section since there just pics of you car and not really focusing on 4th a gen specific topic?

gtr_rider Nov 22, 2007 09:30 AM

awesome shots other than the HID pictures..

accordingtou Nov 22, 2007 09:54 AM

NIIIIIIIICE
Those rims realy bring your car out

Digitized Nov 22, 2007 12:08 PM

I had 9004 HID kit in the OEM 4th gen Glass hedalights and trust me, you blind people..
even whenI had the cefiros... i rigged the 9004 HID kit to the cefiros and the light output was scattered, but not blinding ( because of the glare shield)..
Lesson learnt: doing retrofit..

it's not as much blinding the person driving in front of you, but more for oncoming traffic.

Pics look great, but lower the contrast on the 3rd pic.. you can see some distortion..
but other then that, sweet location! :D

QnzMax Nov 22, 2007 12:14 PM

Great pictures and location. Nice looking 4th gen.

kzoosho Nov 22, 2007 12:15 PM

Here are the HID pix on the rd

Flava_24/7 Nov 23, 2007 02:02 PM

Maybe just a bad pic. But to me, this isnt very good light output...

http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...serg/HIDrd.jpg

The curb across the street is barely lit up. You cant really see anything unless its right in front of the vehicle.

Digitized Nov 23, 2007 02:40 PM

Hmm, I think there's a misunderstanding..

The light output in a stock headlight = very bright
The light output in a projector = bright, focused and wide beam..

When I had the HID's.. don't get me wrong, EVERYTHING on the road in front of me was lit up.( cars in front of me, I was casting their shadows on highway signs)..
it's more of everyone else.. yes, the output is bright, but it's too GLARY..
having a projector, the light is focused to shine straight , wide and stop at a certain height..

no projector is simply a non focused, not clean light output...
but hey, if you like it, you find it's lighting up the road enough and no one is complaining that's it too bright/blinding and cops are not pulling you over, then it's all good.. it's your ride, therefore, your drive it and not other people.. ;)

Squirrel82 Nov 24, 2007 09:39 AM

I like the look of your car. Those wheels look nice with that color.

kzoosho Nov 25, 2007 10:04 AM

Projectors do have clean ligt and yes it is focused. There are a couple free form d2r setups that are as wide and focused.

MorpheusZero Nov 25, 2007 10:35 PM

yay, another set of HIDs in stock halogen reflector housings... :o

nice first shots though.

Jason R Nov 26, 2007 07:30 PM

what suspension are you on? you definitely to to go lower or with some coilovers to level out the car. its would look 100x better leveled out.

Jason R Nov 26, 2007 07:37 PM
