Tatanko, I'm glad to hear you're still happy with the car. I'm pretty jealous of your go-fast plans for it as well, but I too have some plans for the new behotch sitting in my shop....

Take good care of her... Just cause I sold her doesn't mean I don't love her haha.

Thanks! The parts for a set of black R34's with FX projectors in them were ordered this evening. She will look stunning in a new suit of HIDs up front and LEDs in the back this winter

The plans are to install the short shifter and throw a new leather boot on with a Skunk2 weighted shift **** for Christmas

Nice choice on the color! Cant say im biased though :P Anyways, good to see you back in a maxima, it would be sad to see someone go who has contributed quite a bit to the maxima community. I know what you mean about the handling thing, i have pretty much everything minus SFC's, and at low speeds it feels good, untill you hit the higher speeds, and you start to change your mind about the previous statement lol.

SFC/LTB's are next on my list, after that, finish my retro that i started 4 months ago lol.

I don't think I'm even going to bother cleaning them. I will likely just replace them outright with a fresh new set. They're in pretty good shape, but I'm pretty **** about floor mats

I agree. Car is going to look GOOD at the end of this month

Almost ended up in an LS1 Camaro But it was automatic and no fun at all. I will probably always have a Maxima.

Maybe in the spring. I don't have the money for them right now (well, I do, but it's getting spent in more important areas) and I want to use up the rubber that is on the car now before I go shelling out money for bigger, better stuff. These 205's are killing me, though haha. I can chirp 2nd gear pretty easily and around turns they are begging for mercy, and I haven't even driven the car hard yet!

It's getting a whole new tip as soon as I can find a suitable replacement.

Only 2 1/2 weeks! Haha. I am loving every minute of owning this car. Just needs the body stuff taken care of, a good detailing, etc. This spring it will be a totally different car and all for the better.

can't wait to see it mang.
yeh i unfortunately have a lot of paint issues and whatnot as well.
someone light scuffed their car on my driver side door resulting in a slight crease dent, front bumper needs a repaint desperately bad, and discovered whom probably was a mexican with a weed wacker scratched my car the other day on my fender...

asides from that, i think the other things i might do is fix up the rear cosmetically. i want to get an m3 trunk link and the half-size roof spoiler. have yet to see anyone with that combo. i'll prob be done w/ the car after all that

An M3 trunk spoiler doesn't sound like a half-bad idea. I want something bigger than that, though. If there was a low-rise spoiler smaller than the stock one but larger than those M3 "lips" you can get I would be all over it.

yeh thats one thing i hate about them. the lip is really subtle. really wish it was a tad bit higher but i would still do it. i'm sure someone with good skills could fabricate one. i would really like an elevated trunk lid like this but of course there isn't one for us.

i think that would look pretty dirty on the 97-99 max.

if there was a low-rise spoiler like this for the max, i would get it as well

Thanks. You'll get to see it in person in the Spring hopefully at some Lancaster meets. I was way too busy this past year with work and the Talon to spend any time on trips

$5300. I think it was a fair deal given that it needs no real maintenance, has decent tires, has tasteful mods that would have otherwise cost me a good chunk of change anyway, etc. To be honest I don't know about the tail lights, I guess I should ask.

Yeah, his attention to detail really impressed me. After washing it earlier this week the car REALLY IS in great shape. It will be hitting the body shop while I am on break for Thanksgiving to get the little stuff taken care of.

Also should have projectors soon Just waiting on parts to SLOWLY come in.

You win Seriously, though, SOMEONE FIND ME A TIP. I'm not just saying that because of all of you poking fun at it, I seriously can't find one the right size that I like that's clamp-on! Ideally it would be like 10" long but they're all sold in 9" and 12" and this one is 12". There's really no length I can take off this one either, not enough anyway.
