Why go above 6k if its not for ricer color? I persoanlly use 4300K
Not OEM headlights, but they still use a reflective housing designed for halogens.
HIDs in those housings = ricer garbage

Yea I'm not a fan of putting emblems on cars that they don't belong on. But like you said, you did it for fun. It was amusing though

First of all I wasnt the one who stated what Kelvin they were, second I also wasnt the one who stated they were other then OEM.
Fact of the matter is, a BMW M emblem on a Maxima plus HIDS in refelctive housings is still RICE.

I liked it. It was kinda cool. All that riceyness b/s, it's only effective to classify your car as ricey if your car has minimal performance upgrades, and it looks like he's got some nice upgrades (visually) and i'm pretty sure he's got some nice underhood upgrades as well, so i think it looked fine dude

Is that supposed to be an insult?
I know your young and still have a bit to learn so it is acceptable.....

O really? minimal performance upgrades = ricey?
Sticking crap on your car that first of all doesnt belong on it, GTR symbols, M emblems, Kompressor badges, etc. is RICE. If you think it looked good, well... we can just leave it at that since we all know your tastes now.
As far as his upgrades go, yeah he has a couple, nothing great but hes just starting out so once again totally acceptable. Ive seen much much worse....

wow, i thought it was just a joke. i didnt think it was that serious, maybe some sarcastic responses here and there but people took it seriously, haha. all this rice talk is rediculous, EVERYONE's car is considered rice to someone else out there. It doesnt matter what mods you have done.

I think people entered this thread on the wrong foot. He clearly stated it was a joke.
As far as the headlights, HIDs in a halogen reflector are shooting glare and basically incomplete. If you want HIDs, they are best used with a HID reflector (like 5.5gens) or a projector retrofit (TSX, S2000, E46, etc..). The lip and wheels look nice, got more pics of the G 18s in gunmetal?

In all seriousness its not that bad. It blend in well, at least it wasnt the M with the red and blue. But we shine against it because we know its an BMW badge. I bet if you left it on there you'd get a lot of props about it.

I bet if you had the same M but not the line behind it and something else like a circle or something it would be hot.

Oh ****. Whats wrong with Flava's car? I think is hot and I know theres plenty of others on here that feel the same. Its unique and is one of the most well-known Maxima's on the org. If anything, he's a trendsetter and others are following his footsteps.

true the cross badging has never been favored and always heavily ridiculed.

Jeeze this thread got so serious so quick... some people should lighten up. He initially said he was playing around and just put it on there to see how it would look and what people think.

Jeeze.... people are acting like he executed a baby seal live with a butter knife, while suffocating a baby kitten in orange juice, and uploaded it to youtube.

lighten up people

I dont think it exists I just came up with that, but I would sh*t bricks if there is such a thing. And the owner should be captured, and tortured by naked greese up men with feathers a razor blades

Thats what he said, BUT im willing to bet that if the response from the org was different and he actually got compliments he would have kept it because deep down inside of himself Im sure he liked it. Why else would someone take the time to place it on their vehicle, snap the pic, and then host it and create a thread for it if he didnt like the idea.

oh yea I dont doubt he liked it. I image he thouht he'd post up the pics and think he'd get a lot of responces from people saying... hey not bad! but it ended up going very left field from what he expected.

I thought the thread would have been filled with clever and funny puns/jokes about his "new" badge but man. I like it myself but woudnt never put it on my car for obvious reasons, but it would motivate me to create a new badge from scratch and see if I can come up with something new and rock that.

Yeah dude, I did my car up to look like everyone else.
FWIW, I was the first person to have the CF kit, and spoiler. I wasnt the first to have the CF hood on a white max, Ceasar was but I was the first to begin the two tone theme doing CF front and back. I caught lots of flack for it. I was constantly told my car look unfinished and looked primered and etc.
If anything I strive to keep my car unique. Doing the dual projector retro, black clears... which I was once again the first to do and etc..
So keep talking smack about things you dont know jack about.
