Is your rear beam not centered?

Grand_hustle17 Jul 9, 2009 05:08 PM

lol its crazy cause one wheel pokes out more than the other??? can the beam even do that???? might be spacers on one wheel?

LLZuB Jul 9, 2009 05:13 PM

it's wierd because i noticed that too, yet i wasn't sure what to do about it, i just noticed it today when i threw these on for all of 5 minutes before i realized it was rubbing on the one side in the back (drivers side) and I don't have the slightest clue as to why it would be un-centered like that! thanks for pointing that out, can someone suggest a solution?

Crusher103 Jul 9, 2009 05:15 PM

yea ur rear beam needs to be re-centered/aligned there are a few write ups on how to do it

LLZuB Jul 9, 2009 05:20 PM

you wouldn't happen to have the link would you? I tried searching, couldn't find the write-up but i know i've seen it somewhere

Crusher103 Jul 9, 2009 05:23 PM

i know its somewhere in the 4th gen section, i believe one of those autoXing guys was also talking about the beam alignment in the suspension setups

BLACKonBLACK98 Jul 9, 2009 05:25 PM

car looks pretty good, ".org classic" style. fitment would be pretty sick if it was intentional and the tires were more narrow.

LLZuB Jul 9, 2009 05:29 PM

thanks guys,

found the link: http://forums.maxima.org/advanced-su...centering.html

looks good..... dumped on z wheels cant go wrong

LA02MAX Jul 9, 2009 09:08 PM

damn, that's without spacers? I didn't realize how much more room the 5th gens have back there than ya'll. Looks excellent, but yeah I don't see that working...first bump you hit will rub.

MoncefA33 Jul 9, 2009 09:47 PM
