Life of Hornepirates Maxima's and I30

This was my 95 the first day i got it about 3 1/2 ish years ago with 80k on the clock. Sock 95 GLE

First mods I did were added the SE spoiler, Saw Blade 15's and a sun roof wind deflector and window tint

Then I did a poor man HAI and messed around with 3 different sets of rims (pained saw blades, 17" 01 maxima rims, and 17" I30 Chrome rims

Then I decided to stick with the saw blades until i got the car lowered (last Jan) a long with my cat back and other performance mods

After I was dropped (tokico blues and HRs) I found a set of crappy condition Konig Monsoons 17x8s for $80. They were in horrible condition, but I refinished the rims myself and they came out nice. Then I also added Blacked out corner lights which i eventually tinted over.

Shortly after I AEd my headlights and meshed my grill then tinted my tail lights

The way it sits today 1/16/10

Car currently has 110K on the ODO and runs strong

Current mod list:
AE Headlights, Black corners, blacked out parking lights, Smoked tails, mesh grill, 17x8 Konig monsoons w/ sumitomo hrtzII, FSTB, RSTB, Tokico Hp w/ H&R springs, Z32tt FF,PR Cai w/ franken mid pipe, Warpspeed Y pipe, test pipe, 2 1/4 cat back Magnaflow muffler, Koyo aluminum radiator, Amber corner lights, 6k Bi xenon HIDs, Dash mounted Garmin Nuvi 250, DR swtich, Slight weight reduction, and ES front and rear motor mounts

minor updates to the car since its been a while. Powder coated the UIM and painted the valve cover lim strut bar etc showing the short ram summer intake but the PR CAI is currently on at the moment. it'll hold me over til the 00vi goes back on this next week.

also did blue led gauges, window switches and clock, need to do the climate control and bose when i get a chance after finals

Nice little interior shot as well

ALSO picked up an 01' GLE for the fiance with 85k on the odo for $5k from a dealer. minor mods more to come

mods are ae headlights
ae tails
smoked corners and rear corners

slight new addition. took off the konigs and wanted something more light wieght but didnt wanna drop a ton of cash because im getting married in may so I put the saw blades back on and had them done up in semi gloss black with a chromed lip and chrome/black nissan emblem for the center caps.

should i keep the blades or keep the konigs (15.6 lbs vs. 24)

Forgot i had this thread but i updated the pics in the begining and why not go ahead and add some new ones.

from what i can tell since my update Ive added the 00vi with prcai then to a longer 3" and now a 3.5" intake also made some homemade polly motor mounts filled with 80a shore polly from mc mastercar. probably a lot more stuff but pics speak more than words

also recently purchased (december) a LC1 innovate and safc2 which i will tune probably in june since ill be done with this semester of college next week.

and made a 3" ID maf. considering making a 3.5" but not sure

Current engine bay pic

My Wifes car is coming along nicely

she tinted her own tails, painted her wheels and AE'd her headlights

We've also blacked out the grill, installed a warpspeed y pipe, g35 muffler, and i made an intake for her car (engine bay pics eventually) Installed a FSTB and did front and rear brakes with brembo blanks and NAPA ADO pads (highly recommend)

I recently picked up some OEM style Shrties for my car and got them ceramic coated to go along with the 3" obx y pipe

turns out the y pipe is about the same size as my warpspeed except the flange is larger then is shrinks down to 2.23" at the rear flange. OBX dealer wants a 30% restock fee less original shipping plus i cover the cost of shipping so out of the original $220 i would recieve about $100 and lose about $35 for shipping twice. Instead of taking the hit I made an appointment Thursday to get the rear portion of the pipe cut off and replaced with an ACTUAL 3" pipe.

got the manifolds installed as well as the y pipe. I was surprised to see how small the flanges were for the stock manifolds.

I also added hubcentric rings to my wheel which i realized last week I never had ( which is why i had wabble on the highway)

from the picture it looks like the flanges that bolt up to the exhaust manifold look smaller then the warpspeed y-pipe.

i looked that way because the warpspeed has a gasket on it and the inner area of the gasket was charred black from the exhaust. but they are the same size

I see it now and do you have a sound clip with the headers and y-pipe installed?
