Tigersharkdude's 99 picture thread
As of 4-27-13 I will be using this thread to post new mods and pics . This will be my "build" thread
Before I get to my 99, I will show a few pics of what made me get into Maxima's.....my old 96. Had it from March of 05 to August 07. My doctor had changed my medicine and didnt tell me not to take it before driving :( No pics of the carnage, but take it as...60mph head-on in to a tree http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/k...14_45_full.jpg Then I got my 99 in September of 07 (we all know what a stock maxima looks like, not posting a pic) when I got the car I had the windows tinted 15% the next day. And then a few days after that I had my first set of wheels. Also, salvaged my springs from the gold car and used them on the white car http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/k...e/MYSPACE7.jpg Around Fall/Winter of 07 I purchased R34 style headlights and faux nismo graphics (let the flaming ensue) I loved the hood stripe, but the sides were meh http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/k...w5-5-08016.jpg Not sure of when, but I purchased some 19" ADR victory wheels from Euromaxima on the big ORG. Also removed the side stripes but left the hood stripe http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/k...12008007-1.jpg I then got bit with the mod bug and purchased an Ionic Dynamics lip kit, OE style glass headlights with Acura TL projector retro, OE fogs, and CF mirror shells. Painted the kit satin black to keep my panda them going http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/k...e/IMG_7433.jpg Then tragedy struck :( http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/k...79109_3122.jpg http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/k...79109_3122.jpg I purchased some 04 SL wheels from a local for $200 and wrapped them in Nitto NT-555 tires. http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/k...ramicprint.jpg Here is a fairly recent engine bay shot. http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/k...8650-2-2-3.jpg Mod List Engine/Transmission: True CAI with K&N Filter, No Name FSTB, Various Red Painted Fluid Caps, VHT Wrinkle Red Painted Front Valve Cover, Smoothed UIM Painted Aluminum Silver, Airbrushed Spark Plug Cover/Engine Cover Exhaust: Custom Cat-Back w/ Magnaflow Muffler Suspension/Braking/Wheels: Tein S.Tech springs, Brembo Blank Rotors, 2004 Maxima SL Wheels w/ Nitto NT-555 235-45-17 tires Exterior: Ionic Dynamics Lip Kit, Black Bumper Lights, Acura TL Projector Retro, OE Style Fogs w/ Yellow Overlay, Rewired Blinkers and Corners (Blinkers in Corners, Corner in Stock blinker location), Cefiro-Style Maxima Emblem, CF Mirror Shells, Debadged Trunk, Red/Clear Taillights with Kzoosho 3 row LED boards, LED 3rd brake light with three 12smd LED panels, Polished Key Holes and Antenna Base (so they are polished silver instead of gold), 15% Tint all around , 50% tint on windshield w/ 5% sunstrip, 5% tint on the sunroof, Murano windshield washer nozzles, Cree LED reverse lights Interior/ICE: I30 Dash, I30 "woodgrain" trim on the waterfall section, Q45 Tilting Headrests, I30 Chrome Door Handles, Crushed Velvet door panel inserts with tigershark inserts, 99 SE-L Gauge Cluster w/ Red LED's, Red LED's in the ACC, SMD LED Panel's in the Map, Dome, and Doors, 31mm 3 SMD Bulbs in the Vanity Mirrors, 6-SMD T10 Bulbs in the License Plate Lights, LED keyring, JVC KWXR-810 Double Din, 2 12" Directed SX12D4 Subs w/ Exonic 3000 watt Amp in a Custom Fabbed Enclosure, Infinity Kappa Component Set in the Front Doors, Doors and Trunk COVERED in SecondSkin sound dampening (don't think I forgot anything) |

And Im loving the fogs, even though they do nothing with my headlights they look hella good being yellow |
I like I like. The kit actually looks nice unpainted, it flows with the whole panda theme.
Any more changes comming soon? |

Love the ride! Looks real sporty. The black kit, lights, and wheels dresses the car nice! Love the white with black idea. Hard to do but you pulled it off nice.
|
thats a sexy *** on that 4th, no bewl! i think eventually you should color match the lip kit, doesnt have to be now because it looks good, but eventually

|
you need to go ahead and do that VHT Red Wrinkle, bruh
|
I want to. I need to go to the junkyard and pull an extra valve cover.
|
I see that intake manifold is still looking really good
|
I like how far back the projector sits in the housing. It takes away from the bug eyed look some retro fits tend to give some cars. It's more of an OEM look. I know its not the best positioning for optimum output, but its still way better than stock.
