What's my car worth?

1996 Nissan Maxima SE
5-speed
219,000 mi

Interior:
Black leather in immaculate condition, power front seats
5 speed-Short throw shifter installed
Chrome Gauge rings installed in cluster
Jet Black aftermarket carpet installed. Dyed headliner, rear deck and visors black.
15% llumar tint on windows, 45% on whole windshield, 5% strip on top of windshield

ICE:
Alpine CD player
Alpine amp under driver’s seat
Sony 6 1/2 X-plod speakers in front doors
Infinity 6 ½ speakers in rear deck
2 12” subwoofers in trunk
Viper 2-way alarm (no key fobs)

Exterior:
New R34 headlights 11/11
97-99 Front end swap with grille, bumper
97-99 Rear trunk, 97-99 taillight swap. Clear Outers.
Carbon fiber hood, painted sides KH3 to match, Sparco Hood pins
Stillen front lip, plasti-dipped black

Engine:
00VI swap
Upper plenum painted gloss black
Spark plug cover painted gloss black
Gold battery terminals
Short Ram intake, new air filter 10/11
New Autocraft Battery from Advance Auto parts 11/11

Transmission:
Upgraded to 2001 transmission with 60K, trans now at 90K
New OEM Clutch in August

Exhaust:
Cattman Y-pipe
Test Pipe custom made
Greddy SP2 catback
Wheels/Suspension:
18x8” Speedy Envy wheels – New tires
KYB AGX struts
Tein S-tech springs
Stillen FSTB

BAD:
-Hood clear peeling on carbon fiber
-Dent on rear quarter
-Car has been wrecked awhile back, I pulled the Upper radiator support out and put it into shape, the hood latch does not latch but the carbon fiber hood has hood pins so this hasn’t been an issue for me.
R34's are currently zip-tied in because I had previously cut out all the brackets to fit my cefiro headlights lol
-Radiator is leaking a bit, I will fix this issue if necessary.

Its hard to tell what a maxima is worth our car's dont really hold value. Best thing is to partout all your aftermarket parts then sell car as is. But i think between $2k and 2500$k you could get

Thanks- I figured that would probably make the most sense. I have a ton of maxima related items laying around as well that I'll have to get rid of.

i agree. if you do get rid of it. return it to stock. sell any and all aftermarket parts. i see about 1500+ in aftermarket parts. and with the car stock, you would probably see 2k.

Ups And downs
Downs: High Milage
When the person buys it its gonna be Bought not Built

Ups: It has Mods
00vi
Intake
Perfect Condition Interior
Has that touch screen
Rims
Carbon Fiber Hood
etc.

You'd Look like a street racer if you just have your car parked in CVS.
Well Look I truthfully couldnt buy this because it has too much mods. I just want the 00vi. I want mine Built not bought.

Price of Your max 4000 +
I find maxs with no mods higher then 4000 so good luck.

The main thing a seller is going to look at is 219,000 miles.
As much money as you have put into it, it doesn't really increase value. Unfortunately :/
Maybe if you can find a maxima enthusiast to buy it you might get a little more because they know what some of the parts are worth, but the prices about seem about right.

priced at over 4000 but nobody buys them at that price. market is tough these days, like most people said... realistically its probably 2k-3k. which means thats what most people will offer you. but list your car at like 4 or 4.5k everybody does that.

I paid 3,900 for the car +234 taxes = $4,134 total back in 2004. If I can get half back at $2,067 for the car, back in stock oem form...and then sell all mods for roughly 1K. I'd say that's doing pretty well.

Keep in mind that I've thrown $$$1,000s in this car on maintenence. Clutch, transmission swap, alternators, starters, batteries, wheel bearings and hubs, ugh when I think about it makes me sick to my stomach!

I agree with the guys earlier that say $2000 - $2500 tops.

If you still have the stock parts, I agree with WesCTR that you might come out better to return to stock and part out the aftermarket stuff.

alternatorsss, startersss, batteriesss man how many times have you replace all of this???? lol, well just to let you know and to make you feel good, maintance is something that you always have to do to your car no matter what and is not only you thats everybody, performance is something that we add because we want our cars to sound good and also to make it look good but that is just a personal hobbie, just I will say do a part out and look at the value of your car on kbb.com or whatever, post it at craigslist.com with a price a little bet higher from whatever value your car is worth and that it, good luck, Im DONE

LOL I always had used parts from friends, junk yards etc and did my own maintenmence so it was not too===== expensive if not free----to fix something like a starter or alty. I've probably had about 3-4 starters and 2 alternators, 2 radiators, 3 windshields, 3 hoods, 3 bumpers, a few grille. I swapped in the 2001 Trans when my TO bearing went out in the 96. Probably 3-4 batteries over 9 years isnt too bad is it?? haha
